Up to this point all of the heritage armor has been decent to great looking. As a long time werewolf, I was super excited at the possibilities of worgen heritage armor. Finally, we had a chance to look like a dark brooding lord from Gilneas.
I thought maybe Genn Graymane would be the basis for our heritage armor. Or maybe they’d base it on something from Heroes of the Storm.
On the PTR our current heritage armor looks… stupid. Really stupid. Really, really bad. The top hat is bonkers. Where is my trench coat? If Kul Tirans get trench coats why would Gilneans not? The entire set looks like it was bought from the Walmart Halloween costume section.
Please re-work, Blizz.

I agree it’s a real let down. Atleast change the coloring maybe a brown base with gray accents instead of blue with gold.

You think the shoulders are the weak part? The whole thing has a cheapness to it. IMO, the top hat is the worst followed closely by the lack of a trench coat.

Once you remove the shoulders it’s actually a good looking heritage set.

I was hoping for distinct Victorian gothic regalia, similar to Genn’s outfit in HotS (it looks a lot like the witch hunter armor from Warhammer). I’m generally okay with our heritage armor, but it really resembles the nobleman’s coat already in the game. I think if they accessorized it a bit differently and reworked the shoulders, it would be near perfect.

That said, I actually like the Heritage Armor, minus the shoulderpads of course, but that’s something the Hide Shoulders function will fix.

Those I feel that should get trench cloaks:
- Kul’Tirans.
- Worgen (Incuding Night-Elf-Worgen, should they ever release such an Allied race).
- Forsaken.
- And perhaps a limited time (Ei- Anniversary event) Single Player Scenario Earned Challenge mode gear-set (Hard to earn & obtain, similarly kind of like via Mage Tower scenario).
I felt sad & a little let down the pups didn’t get their cloaks 
Perhaps sometime down the track Blizzard will enter into a secondary heritage sets (Such as colour variants / other unique aesthetic sets for the races).

For me I like the Heroes one way better then the WoW one, although I do think minus the shoulders the WoW is okay but could be a lot better imo

I prefer the WoW one like 100000000% more.
I’d be the one making this thread if the WoW one looked like the Heroes one. The heroes one looks like some cheap Northrend questing set.

It is based off of Gen’s outfit though. There was a great thread about it a while ago. I cant for the life of me find it though :C
So far all feedback has been ignored.
It makes me sad, that heritage armor dosen’t spark worgen pride, just makes me sick.
