How long ago was the curse from Shadowlands today?
Well the cursed started back when they locked themselves away behind their walls before even the time frame of “classic” WoW. So it has been a pretty long time.
I’d say a week, at least.

Depends what point of worgen history you mean.
The worgen today started when Arugal summoned them to Gilneas during the Third War to fight the Scourge. That was about 14 years ago from today.
For the next eight years until Cata the worgen plagued Gilneas and Silverpine leading up to their starting zone’s events. And other circumstances during those years also spread them to Duskwood and elsewhere.
Year 20 - Third War, Arugal summons worgen
Year 28 - Cataclysm
Year 33/34 - Today in SL. Not confirmed if we’ve crossed to 34 yet, but should be pretty close

There is a chance your character was feral for 8+ years and was recently caught just after Cata.
Holy crap has it really been only like 14yrs since the third war?
Man… feels like it’s been 50 with all the crap Azeroth has been through.
Not a serious question btw, just surprised.
Keep in mind that Anduin was only 18 at the start of BFA, so we’ve done a lot in a very short period of time (their timeline, not ours).
