Worgen class choice help!

Hello all! I’m looking to roll a worgen since they look tons better now. I want to level one for the heritage set.

I enjoy pretty much every class but I lean more towards casters. I was thinking warlock or mage. I’m also looking lore wise what would fit well.

Help me decide? What is everyone’s opinion? I’m too indecisive to decide on my own.

Druid. Very versatile and lets you play all the specs in case you get bored of pure dmg.

If not druid mages look cool.

I second druid.

Warlock. Yes.

Warrior or rogue, maybe hunter.

I hate the male worgen casting animation.

Druid. Play Balance 9caster) in Warmode, use prowl to hide, get 25% XP boost. Win/Win!

Guess I’ll choose druid. Lol Lots of votes for it. Thank you all who replied!

Druid. You can be a guy who turns into an animal who turns into another animal.

Rogue. Be a sneaky yes

Even though you said you’re leaning toward range dps I like my Death Knight army. I have a worgen dk I really enjoy them.
But if you do range dps Warlocks are fun. I have one those also.

I’m thinking of making both a druid and warlock. I do enjoy both classes so why not? I don’t have an alliance warlock yet.

Yea make Worgen casting is horrendous

OP, I say rogue or warrior

Warrior because you’re a wolf beast
Rogue because it stalks in the shadows like a wolf hunting prey

The classes I feel best about Worgen: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, and Warlock. Druid is a little too on the snout.

“RAWR! I’m a big scary hulking wolfman! … I’m going to stand waaaaaay back here and wiggle my fingers at you menacingly!”

Casters on a race whose entire concept is founded on melee combat always seemed to be missing the point. I mean, it’s one thing on a “big” race, like the Tauren, but their race is a… race, with a culture and just as much need for wisdom and consideration as any other.

The Worgen are literally werewolves. They’re not a race in the traditional sense, nor do they have any culture - that’s Gilneas. I guess it could work if you’re trying to be an “anti-Worgen” Worgen, but at the end of the day, you’re still a dog in a dress where the “dog” factor does absolutely nothing to help in that regard.

On the snout. Haha I love that!

To the OP: I can’t fault you for thinking about mage or warlock, and from those two, I’d recommend mage. That said, if you want to consider other options, take a look at druid. You have a melee form (feral), can tank in bear form, have a ranged option in balance and can heal (if you’re up for that) in resto. I enjoyed leveling my druid, as I could heal in dungeons and used balance to level out in the world. Best of luck in your decisions and happy leveling to you.

I vote rogue or DK.

I would say try Priest. But before you do, listen to some Powerwolf first. They are priests who have been infected with Lycanthrope and turn their curse against the enemies of the church. They are angels in their minds with the souls of demons.

You can be Genn Greymane if you are a rogue and their stealth stance is really cool. Personally always hated their casting animations.
