Worgen Heritage set, those cuddly Mechagnomes, and ummmm horse mounts.
Just a few things (not all by any means) causing Alliance apathy and some migration to Horde. There are people that like the few I mentioned but I’d venture the vast majority are put off by the lack of care on Alliance’s behalf.
Leaving shoulders aside the heritage is good
Mechagnomes are cool, so far none of the races are half robots, and they also have good racials (btw the diaper joke is stupid)
I do agree with the horse mounts…
So what’s the root cause of those symptoms you’ve listed?
In my opinion it’s an apathetic engagement from the developers to provide a meaningful reason for the blue faction’s existence. I’m done playing Alliance until it gets equal treatment. My horde toons are thriving and the variety of mounts are nice and the upcoming vulpera are going to replace many on my bench.
don’t forget lack of care by blizzard. if they cared more about the alliance, they would’nt be getting shafted so much. instead they just said ‘meh, screw’em.’.
No. The race looks dumb. Just objectively, they look dumb.
If you haven’t created one of these rust diapers on the PTR and attempted to transmog their gear, you won’t get the joke. It’s less of a joke than a factual statement. It’s an extremely sad state of affairs for this majestic race to be so awful in the execution. That’s pretty much how the blue faction is treated though.

Until last year I played Alliance only. Decided to check out Horde and facepalmed. Been in the wrong faction (for me) for a long long time.
Rockwell, nobody is joking. they have no pants, and what ‘tiny’ amount of pants they have, looks like a diaper.

I feel like if they toned down all the bright and shiny gold, and made the coat longer, more like a trench coat, the Worgen armor would look way better. I also don’t think the Mecha-gnomes look all that bad. With the right mog they could look awesome. I really don’t have a response for the horses, only that I’m jealous I can’t get my green (with envy) hands on that sweet, sweet, bee mount. I know that one mount doesn’t make up for the zillion different horses they got, but its a start.

Everything ally is getting in beta for Azeroth is without charisma, disappointing or a joke.
Diaper gnomes, who don’t even seem to care if they exist and are being leveraged with bribe-shaped racials so that they are not ignored at all, being massacred rather than vulperas and their undeniable liveliness.
Junkgnomes are so pathetic and so unaware of anything that helps to value the alliance that not even transmogs they can use correctly.
Matching something popular with something irrelevant only serves to further alienate the alliance from the horde.
Ally’s races and their leaders being shown as idiots, with no BfA win that is not canonically existing outside the game. Not a single place in Azeroth where anyone can tell where we beat the horde. But to say that we, canonically, win is the same as to say that “we win because yes”. Especially when not even the horde seems to feel that they have lost something.
The mounts are a disappointment and do not value anything we did to get excited about kultiras. Making the bee unique to ally was another corrupted wish blizz created. We wanted something unique to the Kultiras fauna, other than vile horses and griffon recolors. No one ever said it was meant to be an exclusive alliance mount.
Why would anyone in the horde strive to have something they cannot use in horde characters?
I wish I had this mount. would be great for my vulpera! Now, why am I going to work hard to grind this mount?
