Worgen and Goblin Monks

Why not just give them different starting areas like you did with the Allied Race DKs? There’s really no reason for Worgens and Goblins to have that restriction at this point.

Given that there’s a new starting area for everyone. They should just add worgen and goblin monks that start there, and are only available for players who already have a lvl 10. Orc warlocks have a special start after all.

Lightforged monks should also be added. It’s ridiculous how zandalari, the enemies of pandaren have monks but not LF.

Why do you keep repeating this nonsense, after posters have continually corrected you?

The Pandaren in the Alliance and Horde come from the Wandering Isle, not the Mainland; they have no prior dealings with, or resentment towards, the Zandalari. Therefore it stands to reason that they would also have no issue training them either.

The Monks learn from the pandaren at pandaria, since the introduction of monks. And the pandaren from the WI come from pandaria as well, is not like they are foreigners, why do you think Chen still has family and an entire business in Pandaria?

Goblin attempting to learn the ways of the Monk:

"Okay, I got this, gotta focus. Inner peace…inner peace…piece of cake…that’s it! Make cake and sell it to these starving Monk trainees for a HUGE profit! Why didn’t I think of it before? It’s so obvious an Orc coulda figured it out!

What was I doing here again? "

Incorrect.

Each faction learns from the Tushui and the Houjin, respectively. They are from the Wandering Isle, not the Mainland. Quit spreading your stupid misinformation.

Also, Chen had never met his extended family before leaving the Isle to explore. He didn’t even know he had any. Learn your learn lore.

Goblins sold em knockoff yoga mats.

Worgen well…

There’s already a goblin in the monk class hall, they wouldn’t have much trouble. Probably enjoy selling drinks.

Dude, monks literally had quests learning from the monks at pandaria.
Whether Chen met his family or not is meaningless to the point he has family there.

Yeah, you really don’t know how gameplay and lore work, do you?

In the lore, Monks learn from the faction Pandaren, who (as they level), go on a spiritual journey to Pandaria to further their learning.

Honestly, just stop talking. You clearly don’t understand how the lore works.

LMAO you are literally saying that monks learn from pandaria and you don’t get how all that works still.
Must be hard to not even understand your own words.

Ok no.
Pandaren are not apathetic and indifferent. While not every Pandaren from the isle is going to disagree with training them, it’s reasonable to say a large portion would. No race is a hivemind, you don’t get to dictate that sorry.
As for Zandilari Monks, I dont even think Blizzard said anything on it, this is the same company that made LF Shadow Priests and Void Elf Holy Priests.

No. I said they go on a ‘spiritual journey’. Reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit, is it? As long as you continue to post asinine lore, I will continue to enlighten you.

Correct, they’re not. In fact, Pandaren are one of the most forgiving races in the game.

Even as the Klaxxi slaughtered them, they tried to extend the hand of friendship. Building the Wall was a last resort. Even in MoP they give you their blessing to try and reason with the Klaxxi instead of just killing them.

They also treat the Mogu the same way, having continually extended friendship and a cease fire with them.

Ergo, they would treat the Zandalari, who did far less damage than both the aforementioned races, the same way. Pandaren are not Orcs who delight in bloodshed, or Night Elves who’s xenophobia makes them blind to reason.

Learn. Your. Lore.

As a whole yes, but they can forgive them and still not wish to train them, the two do not contradict each other. Chen is not the same as Taren and he is not the same as Cho. Pandaren have vastly different personalities so before you keep acting rude to people who disagree with you, maybe take your own advice and play though MoPs stories again

And to this bit specifically, holy/disc lightforged, and shadow void elf make sense and fit.

Just because the game doesn’t, and shouldn’t have code added to say ‘oh your this race, well now you can’t play this spec’ is a good thing, not a ‘the company is bad for letting you play this class’

I literally just took an Alt through Mists two weeks ago. The story is still quite fresh in my mind. This isn’t about being rude, it’s about an asinine poster who’s continually made incorrect lore statements in an attempt to bash Monks, Pandaren, and Mists as a whole.

Ironic that she hates that expansion, but is herself playing a Monk.

at this point, it doesn’t matter if its lore-friendly or makes sense, just add it. all races should have the option.

if you really must spin it, it doesn’t matter what you are currently because monkhood accepts everyone. I mean, voljin- a shadowhunter- learned their ways… not all gobbies are unable to let go their greed and not all worgen are unable to control their beastliness. :man_shrugging: becoming a monk would actually help with that, i think!

So you should know that not all Pandaren act the same and have very different views and philosophies. I don’t know about that other person but when you’re telling me to learn my lore when I did every Quest on multiple characters, someone who is a huge fan of Pandren general, it’s going to seem rude to say all Pandaren are this or that.

You’re not all Pandaren, why in the world would you take that statement rudely? Playing a Pandaren is not the same thing as being a Pandaren.

Of course not all Pandaren think alike, however, when it comes to the lore, Blizzard (as they have done since Classic) use stereotypes for each race when it comes to represent them as a whole.

If you don’t understand that Pandaren are quite forgiving and see the value of a former enemy turned into a potent ally, I don’t know what to tell you.

Everyone should have monks by this point, just like warriors. It’s not race-specific anymore. You can make a Draenei monk and their opening zone has you coming fresh off a crashed ship from the other side of the galaxy… If that makes sense, so does a goblin or Worgen monk.

Going by this logic you can say all Trolls are like Zul. If you dont understand Pandaren or any race is not a hivemind I dont know what to tell you either.

I am not even saying that they can’t train them to be monks, but saying thet ALL or even MOST would not care about what they did to Pandaria is ridiculous.
