the goblins and worgwn have switched position. it used to be that every worgen looked the same. now they have variety.
whereas all the male goblin faces now basically look the same.
there was a hard focus on the worgen clearly with how people complained about them. even giving the option to have different eyecolours with the face. which they didn’t used to have. goblins just kinda seem like they went “alright. copy paste this. change the eyecolours and we done. upload highres this time.”

I’m kind of relieved? Definitely some issues, and something was definitely lost in terms of personality and character, and the mouths are still a bit uncanny. But… I was expecting way worse.

My biggest complaint for Worgen, males anyways, which goes back to before they updated the model, it’s just they made no effort to fix this with the new models either, is the fact that we don’t have a single fur color that’s solid.
What I mean is all the fur choices have the mane that is darker than the rest of the fur, so we end up looking more like lions than we do wolves. It really irritates me. I was hoping we would look more lupine with the update, sadly we do not. I was also hoping for maybe some fur on the shoulders the way Genn Greymane has, but oh well.

I think the new running animation is going to take some time to get used to but other than that everything is great. The new face looks great on my DK since he keeps his glowing eyes.
I just realized Kass’ ears are the wrong shape.
I checked out the barber shop and a bunch of the ears are identical shapes now. Guess they didn’t bother making as many this time around and I was just one of the ones who was unlucky about it.
The earrings are accurate, at least.
I’ll miss my pizza-shaped ears though. I was never super fond of the extra-long shape.
I like my horrible toothy maw. And my oldlady face still looks old!

Female worgen in particular look amazing.
My worgen is male but he’s improved too!
The new goblin models don’t look all that different to me xD
I love the new Worgen, but some of the Goblin stuff is iffy, though I like them overall. Their faces are a lot more similar than they used to be. And some of the jewelry is a different color.

My Goblins look lovely! I only wish we got new hairstyles too…but ahh well. My Gobs at least seem to have turned out well. Sorry to hear this hasn’t been the same for everyone but, I also remain hopeful we’ll see more customization over time. Certainly feels like we’re sorely overdue for that.

I would kill for female Goblins to have the variety of hair styles Blood Elves get. I don’t need this many different kinds of ponytails/braids!

So I slept on it, and looked at it again, and I still hate how my character looks. Hell, the longer I look at it the more I hate it. The face moreso than the body. In fact, the body not at all, I think that’s fine.
With that said, though, I’m throwing my hat in the ring for further customization options for every race/gender. I’m almost 100% positive that this is going to happen within the next year or two, seeing how the Worgen models have turned out. Even non-RP’ers have stressed that they want more customization options, and while it’s not the forefront of Blizzard’s priorities (and shouldn’t be), I think we’ll see them in the future.

It’s not her. It’s not Quidore. Yes, it IS that big of a deal to me. Even the person I RP with regularly, as her, and who knows everything about the toon was like ‘holy hell, what happened’.

I feel like the only person who doesn’t actually like the worgen models.
I haven’t gotten the chance to see them in game yet, so it’s possible they’ll grow on me, but the males look like they’re made of wax and female worgen, by and large, look more chihuahua to me, not less.
I miss my pizza ears.

I find them acceptable, but would prefer a less tidy appearance.
Goblin ladies’ faces are purple grids to me, and I’m not sure I’ll try to fix it.
