I used to make a living online, and I can say that the vast majority of those who were in the online business were NOT like that, we didn’t like it when someone tore an entertainer down, we tried to lift each other up and straight up condemned those who were toxic.

Was it perfect? No, absolutely not. There were and probably still are toxic personalities making that money. But the vast majority of them are NOT tearing their peers down, most of them are friends with each other.

My grandfather was a great man. Won the bronze star in Korea, impressive record in amateur boxing, a creator of stupid dad joke poems that he’d turn into songs that he’d sing terribly and took care of our family through the work he did as a union electrician. There is no single human being who I respected more.
