I haven’t been able to play dragonflight pre patch because the game won’t update and is still stuck in shadowlands saying (Incompatible). I tried forcefully updating it, uninstalling and other stuff similar but I can’t do any of that because it says WoW is currently running, which it definitely isn’t.
I purchased Dragonflight Heroic… I received the character boost but the game is still Shadowlands!!! no updated content…

As to the OP - have you rebooted the computer?
