Yes, this is the exact issue I’m experiencing with a single talent for only one of my hunter characters my forum post. You video illustrates this perfectly.
Additionally, when I log into my hunter, I get an alert that my talents have been reset or that I have unspent talent points - both of which seem untrue. I am prompted tho to reapply my already selected talents.
same thing with me bro. jsut out of nowhere it happened. i went to change mid raid to another setup and coundelt do it. beat my head into a table until i relized it was reckless abadaon on fury warrior. been searching about this and seems its a probelm… no one really knows a fix. gonna wait 30 minutes logged out see if it works. if not will wait to try tomorrow after the maint
It appears to be an issue with choice talents. One of the problematic strings I imported had 2 points on a choice node and after that this node was no longer pickable.
At times when I’ve been prompted or forced to reset and re-select talents, clicking reset reverts back to an invalid “build” where two points are shown as selected for “Kill Command” which is a baseline, automatically assigned talent - it should not be able to have any points put into it - but it resets to 2/1. I can only remove one point from it down to 1/1.
Can you choose intimidation, or is that still not pickable?
yeah…still wont let me pick it, is there a way i could contact a gm directly?
I am note sure if a GM could help you with it. It seems like a problem with how your character is stored on the server.
damn what can i do, i try relogging with the talents not picked and now its even worse.
nothing, jsut bend over andf take it bc they haven’t acknowledged the multiple posts or anything… we may just have to fn SPAM the forums until they fn acknowledge this s**t and force a fix on this game breaking bug
Maintenance would not fix it if they haven’t acknowledged it yet. Let’s hope they notice it.
deleting the toon and restoring helped a little but not entirely
What did it help with in particular?
so beforehand, i was attempting to fix it by a method i saw on the forums.
you select your talents but dont hit apply, then log out.
what ended up happening was, it made everything much worse.
so i deleted and restore my toon and im back to square one
but recently, it said my talents were reset, and now i cant pick anything again lol.
These forums were for beta. The live bug is kinda new. None has been able to recover from it as far as I know.
