I can’t equip my 2nd legendary? I unequipped the clasp of unity I got from ZM and made another legendary that has the power I want, but it wont let me equip it. I paid 50k for the materials.
We can’t equip crafted leggos? We have to content with what we got from ZM?
You can only equip your covenant legendary and one other of your choosing. You can’t use two legendaries of your choosing.

You can ONLY equip UNITY and another crafted legendary. Not 2 and not your original crafted covenant legendaries (which are useless because unity switches effect to your currently active covenant).

You can craft your own Unity leggo with the stats you want, but it has to be Unity+Whatever
YOu can but the 2nd crafted one has to be your covenant one .
You are better off using the Unity instead because it covers your current covenant and if you change covenants it changes with you . Thus removing the need to craft a covenant legendary for each covenant.

They didn’t change the flag from Unique Equip: Shadowlands Crafted (1). They just added another flag Unique Equip: Enlightened Legendary (1)
Unless you made your covenant leggo, it’s not 100% useless. Now you’ve got two leggos to swap between!

No, the second one must be unity. It can be the premade belt from the quest or you can craft it from the unity memory, but the covenant legendaries are not equippable with another legendary.
God I wish it did, that would go a long way to fixing the issue with some covenant having trash legendary effects…
One of your legos must be Unity. Either the free one you got or a crafted one using the Unity memory. Either way the name of the lego must be Unity.
Your second lego can be anything else.
This isn’t true. It is useless if the 2nd class/spec legendary will never be used in place of the primary one. Like for me, I would MUCH rather have a 2nd class/spec legendary over unity, but even amongst the options, I’d never pick anything over the belt I’m wearing.
OP is just out gold at this point. It sucks but it isn’t like there haven’t been a plethora of resources all detailing this stuff since PTR.
Still I wish we could just equip any 2 legendaries and unity just being a new one available for consideration.
I’m not quite sure what OP made, since I don’t play MM. There are a few leggos for BM at least that taking them, especially if you cov swap, isn’t atrocious. For instance, if I want to PvP, gotta swap Rylakstalker for Craven.
Still rough for OP, since chances are it’s 99.9999% useless. Might be a niche, probably not.

how do I upgrade my unity belt from 265 to 291? I guess that’s about all I can do.
you basically have to craft it as a new legendary. get a 291 of the slot you want (since unity goes on any slot), missives, and either 5150 ash, 1650 cinders, and 2k flux, or just 5k flux to buy the other mats, take it to the runecarver and make it with the memory of unity specifically.
Need revered with the enlightened to buy memory of unity, but yeah, this.
If you mean the one you got from completing the quest, you can’t. You’re stuck with it until you hit revered and buy a memory of unity off the rep vendor in ZM
And then you’re going to have to spend gold to make the unity legendary
