Just wondering anyone playing Aug/Evoker if they leveled with it and their experiences with it. Thank you.
I play a Augmentor when I do dungeons. Very few people sneer at you, you may get the request to change to dev, but that’s only happened 2 times. I find it fun and entertaining. If you do play pve with it please remember to buff yourself. It defiantly helps. Play style i find it easier than a mage at times but if i get a group of 4+ i have a little bit of trouble. Delves are difficult for me. There are probably some good players out there that has no issue but my skill level can be rated at normal. Dungeons are fun if you can keep might up. You have a full range of buffs for the tank, healer and dps. Just got to use them all. It is really difficult currently in TW dungeons as you won’t get any of your 2 sec or 3 sec spells off.
Great for grouped content especially as the dps get higher ilvl. I would play devastation to level, Aug is mainly a support class, not that the campaign is difficult at all, just will be slower. For delves I think Aug would be very hard to complete higher level delves with solo. Heroic Dungeons and lower keys, the damage from Dev is probably better than the buffs from Aug.
tl;dr Aug really shines if the people you are using your buffs on can maximize them, otherwise take the dps from Dev.
