So can am i able to use both a offensive elixir and a defensive elixir? But a Flask counts for both? 
Elixir restrictions were added in TBC. You can have as many potions, weird consumables you find in the world, scrolls and world buffs as you want plus one flask (I believe there is a buff cap). Some don’t stack with each other on a per-stats basis, like the strength potion and the strength juju don’t stack.
