Like as not, I am not in fact a Man’ari Draenei, I am simply a Draenei who painted themselves red and cosplays as an Eredar. And since that’s all I am, perhaps I should delete Xyrelia and go with a more practical choice. Like Human or Gnome. Maybe Dark Iron. Because if it doesn’t explicitly say “Man’ari Eredar” on the little text box when you mouse over a character, then you aren’t one. Apparently.

Sorry, the little foxes aren’t on Alliance because the big bad blue boys decided to host a purge squad on their caravans with flamethrowers and the like for the sole purpose of killing them all.

Outside dreanei, alliance doesn’t have any cool lock races. They are all on Horde. Orc warlocks, the forsaken warlocks, trolls, goblins, blood elves, nightborne, even a tauren warlock is funny to see. But yeah FOR THE HORDE!
But yeah if it has to be alliance its probably human or gnome is your best bet.

I mean, you could argue that Velen or the Naaru have purged the demonic aura & bindings from your being, yet cannot completely extinguish it — Thus despite still being red, you’re no longer demon or ‘Man’ari’ in the old sense … a new dawn for your people … A Man’ari Draenei.
- Because like you said, the mouse over indicates ‘Draenei’
That way, you could work the sense of: “All Draenei are Eredar but not all Eredar are Draenei” … or vise versa, however it works. lol
So you’d be a Draenei Warlock, though given your Man’ari history – You have your red skin. Working well with what you got ~
That all being said though:
- Unlike San’layn & other elven skin tones — You guys actually had a questline to sort of confirm the subrace / alternation of the Draenie people & race customisation towards that race.
- You actually have PRECEDENT to deem your customisation as ‘Man’ari’ more than say a Void Elf would towards being a ‘High Elf’ or a Blood elf OR Void Elf would towards being a confirmed / official San’layn.
So in that regard, you got the better deal. 
Sometimes you just gotta make do with what is given.

My lock was human and she always looked cute, i since switched her to kul tiran, but humans always look good in cloth.
You dare use my own spells against me Potter, err Aussielight. But eh, thanks. I was kind of bummed out about the Void Elf thing and I remember getting into a bit of a tiff with another forumer about being Man’ari Draenei (my own personal take on the Red skinned Draenei)

Draenei means outcast in Eredar, I believe? which you are, once again because you are no longer a man’ari by joining the Alliance.
Trust me, I feel you on the Void Elf thing… I quit ‘Unian’ for the longest time because I didn’t want to be seen as on the same level as those hypocritical Helvers that now taint the previously perfect race.
Oh no, still very much Man’ari which if memory recalls means abomination or aberration. Eh, one of the two. I’m just not Eredar anymore by joining the Alliance.
Eredar is their race. No matter the flavour. Draenei are the lot that left with Velen. 
But regardless, don’t let others talk you out of what you enjoy. Man’ari are very much a thing because they actually got a questline to explain the new options. ‘High Elves’ did not. There was never an official statement that declared those options High Elf.

From all that there were elements I agreed with you, and some I didn’t due to the way it was worded - hence why I stayed out of it in that other thread.
But like I mentioned, you still have precedent to your sub-race via the quest / lore confirmation.

Although there’s also a short handful of people on the forums who obviously take things out of proportion or context & do so deliberately to derail a thread or point being made – Ultimately contentious.
You say this like you’re fine with your race but someome else dumped on you for playing a red skin Draenei. Please just you do you, if you let internet trolls bring you down you will never be happy in life. The red skin option is awesome, as is Draenei finally getting to be Warlocks in general.

Honestly the Draenei getting some homage to touch base on the controversial mix of the class to their race was pretty great, NGL.
Would’ve loved that for some of the other races (like the Night Elves, especially given their history with the Arcane alone, not to mention darker magics!) — but perhaps in due time …
My vote is stay draenei or go void elf.
If you fancy horde go undead.
