After all this time, the Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle from Burning Crusade Karazhan is still one of the best looking guns in the game, at least in my opinion.
I would love to see an updated version of this rifle added to the Trading Post or some other source in the same way the Classic era staff Headmaster’s Charge was.

It’s definitely one of the best looking rifles and it would be cool to see an updated graphical version as well as keeping the old one. Same with the bow from Black Temple. Really love to see a cleaner version of that as well.

As far as ranged weapons go, it’s probably the most iconic. It’s definitely the only gun whose name I know off the top of my head.
We’ve gotten like 7 Gorehowls, we could use one more Wolfslayer.
Agree, still my go to hunter weapon. They make most guns look super dumb.
I feel it, all the guns we get these days feel like they’re already lost causes at the “how does this work as a gun” stage.
Also why are half of the guns blunderbusses with massive flared tips we have so many blunderbuss please stop ruining every single gun by making it a blunderbuss.
You jest, but I think it’s pretty clear that I meant a graphically updated version of this rifle, not a design update.
While the look of this particular rifle still holds up as one of the best looking rifles by design, I still think it could be remastered and modernized graphically so it doesn’t look as old and out of place when used with modern armor.
It still annoys me how Garrosh’s Kor’kron rifle orcs during MoP all seemed to be using knockoff Wolfslayers at the same time I was using the real thing (ok, the transmog of it).
It’s sad that a weapon from tbc has yet to be outdone because blizzard can’t design a gun to save their life
Blizz is terrible with designing ranged weapons. The best example is the crossbow skin for the mm hunter artifact weapon. Transmog that and holster it on your back for the worst clipping that has ever occurred in the game.
