New to Feral Druid, will this item be worth it given the new profession epics?
IMO, I’d say no. They adjusted Enrage to provide rage when used (it only accrued over time before). So you’d essentially only really use it for cat form which will become obsolete at 50 when you are able to powershift with the Furor talent under Resto.
Will it not stack for a total of 60 energy?
yes it will stack.
It will prob be worth it while leveling, but if it will still be the goto helm at 60, that remains to be seen.

yes at current it would still be your 60 bis. but itemization should hopefully change at 60 given cat isnt meme anymore.

Its just sad we cant use it now.
The lack of attack power and strength makes it undesireable.
I don’t think so. with power shifting 5/5 furor and the new kind of the jungle rune you aren’t exactly starved for 5 more energy
its 20 more energy and it stacks with furor and doesnt have a cooldown like kotj. it was literally the bis helm through TBC for cat druid

Absolutely wrong. Feral’s were using this helm well into level 70 raiding before it was replaced for stats.

Edit: Unless they add a head enchant rune that acts as the same thing and doesn’t stack w/ Wolfshead. I recall seeing that datamined at one point.

Came here to say this, I think that wolfshead will be BIS at 60… The DPS gain from power shifting with the helm is pretty large, will take a VERY… VERY good item to overtake. That or changes like you said
