Rets are very strong right now, just look at the top 100 3v3.
Literally all pally specs are viable to hit glad so idk how anyone can say they need compensation. Show me one other class that has every specialization placing in the top 100.
Using arenamate, filtering 3v3 and 2900+ (top 100 is 2862 but canāt get that specific), ret has 8. I think folks like you consider any pally to be ret when really of the 31 paladins, 23 are holy. Also 0 prot. So 2 of their 3 specs are in the top 100 then. Same with shaman, druid, and priest. Also mages are 16, war is 17, rogue is even with pally, so if (ret) pally is busted, that means anything better or equal is also busted then no?

Looking at your own data you mentionned, above 2900 22.5% are paladins.
One player out of five is a paladin. Out of 12 classes.

At 2900 with 22.5% representation for paladin thereās 16.2% holy (23) and 5.6% ret (8). At 3000 youāre at 27.8% paladin, 22.2% holy (12), 5.6% ret (3)
Ret is strong, donāt get me wrong but itās just overtuning and gimmick. Itās not because of the what the spec has. Because it has the same stuff in bfa and the spec wasnāt amazing either.
guys, nerfing the range of WoG by 75% would be the best decision. Iām very smart about this stuff, the power of the heal isnt the problem and this change wouldnt effect Retās defensive CDās. Only healers should be able to use defensives on other players really and maybe tanks, but not DPS and not the top burst class in the game especially. Nerf the range and this spell is balanced.
When DPS has defensives they can use on other player you get broken comps like GOD comp was, and how intervene is now for Apes i mean Arms. I know what im talking about iām 2700 on EU so i dont know how that translates to NA atm. This is the right call.

2600+ btw is the top 10 in na and top whatever in EU, so not only is the game not balanced around 2s, you are still wrong and thereās more arms in that top rung of the ladder than ret. Try again, u might get a banana if youāre right.
