There are 11 Alliance races that can be mage, compared to 10 in the Horde. I’m not going to research the ratios of every class/race combination, but it seems uneven numbers isn’t uncommon.

I just looked up the ratios for Shaman; five in Alliance…NINE in Horde.
I have to retract my earlier statement about Blizzard trying to keep a balance. They used to…but obviously, not anymore.
Though I disagree with a number of things in the OP, I do agree with the notion that the Alliance could use some more variety with their races and/or class combinations.
I do think it’s interesting that my panda has a loveable little nub on his bum bum, but Worgen don’t have tails. Vulpera have tails, and they are basically stunted Worgen!
Is the plural of Worgen, worgen or worgens?
If Worgenses had tails do you think they would become the master race of Azeroth, dethroning Blood Elves as the most common player chosen race?
Should I start wiggling my nub like that one troll wiggles their toes?

most of my worgens (i have 25 of them) are forever stuck in worgen form, you can escape the starting zone before reaching Blackwald and never learn that Two Forms spell
