People seem confused these days, either forgetting how bad WOD was, they weren’t there or they are trolling.

I think people get confused because WoD leveling and raids where genuinely fun…
There just wasn’t any content.
No content means no one remembers it.

Eh… WoD’s shortfalling was that the content was gutted so that the content team could thrown at Legion.
The start of WoD was much better than BfA but then it died on the vine after the initial content push as more and more of the planned content got snipped off and thrown in the bin.
The most disappointing thing of all is knowing that we could have had a shot at an updated art version of Gorehowl that will now be lost in the annuls of ‘could have hads’.

This is fair…leveling was legit fun in WOD. Gorgrond is actually one of my favorite zones.
Yup…a pretty insane amount of content was cut. Including hair styles…for some reason? I would’ve liked to see the Netherstorm zone though (I forget its original name).
And that sin is pretty dang huge my dude. If there is nothing to do, there is no reason to keep your account active. Its what made the expansion the only one I actually hated.

Literally every PvPer would probably disagree. BFA has no competition for worst PvP expac.

On pvp I would actually agree Bfa is complete garbage.
EXCEPT WARMODE.
Omg warmode was amazing when it first came out. Best time I’ve had with the exception of Legion Pally bgs. Or dropping out of the sky as a sub rogue and taking zero fall damage.

I find it depressing that grinding BGs and Arenas over and over again is good enough for some people to like an expansion with no content more than another.

WoD was one the better expansions for a casual player. I would rank WOLK>Legion>Cata>WOD>MOP>TBC>BFA.
If you had a life, WoD was fine.

Uh… no, you have the opposite. BFA is better for casual players, WoD was better for raiders and PvPers.
I disagree. It is an opinion and naturally it will differ from person to person but I liked WoD better (though it was not a great expansion overall it was the last expansion I really enjoyed pvp). I did pvp, I got pvp gear that was generally BiS, and my reward was enjoyable pvp after gearing instead of an endless gear treadmill. The pvpe side of things was horribly messed up and they cut far too much content, but at least the pvp was better than now (my opinion).
Dunno what is depressing. Every single expansion was better for PvPers than BFA. It shouldn’t be hard to understand that PvPers probably don’t care if solo content or M+ exists, which are really the only thing BFA has that WoD didn’t.
I know it’s a common thing on GD for people that are mainly solo players to trash WoD for not having content but it really wasn’t that bad. The raids were good and so was the PvP. The last patch lasted too long but it was still 10000% better than BFA if you don’t care about solo content.

The only one that ruffles my feathers is people claiming WOD > BFA. I dunno…I tried pvping and Ashran was okay as a novelty thing but in general it was boring.

Battle for Abilities is easily worse than WoD.

Ashran wasn’t the only PvP in WoD and there were a lot of factors that made PvP better. Class design and PvP gearing among the top ones, both of which were better than Legion too.
