Is there a difference in WoW? From a loreplay stand point.
Not much in wow,no. Just a name in different cultures in real life.
Unfortunately no.
There is no real class like Sorcerer in WoW. Where your power, your magic, it’s in your blood from birth. All the WoW classes except the hero ones are something anyone could stop and learn if they wished to dedicate their life to it.
Sorcerers are my favorite DnD class fantasy, id love to see something like it in WoW.
In wow I don’t know but IIRC sorcerer is someone that has innate power, a wizard studies to learn power, and mages never give mana buns

Closest to a Sorcerer would probably be Evoker, since Dracthyr were created with their natural abilities to harness the power of the dragonflights.
hmm, yet all of them use elemental powers . Just names have the same meanings just different culture of the world use different description for the magic user, sorcerer and wizard come from Europe and mage from Arabic .So to say one is different from another it isn’t,well, at least with wow .
