Looks like if you don’t hard CC the NPC who casts them, they’ll spawn and then if they aren’t killed before it goes off it does big group-wide damage. Is there anything I’m missing about this mechanic? DPS don’t seem to focus them, and if I can do something on my own to negate having to heal through 20 seconds of big ticking disease then I’m on board to start doing it. lol
you’re not missing anything. they can’t be ignored like they could before!

Looks like I’m going to have to make a skull macro then. lol Good God is that unfun to heal through. xD

I always have to kill the totem by myself and then spend the next 20 seconds cleansing the group.
