Apparently the hidden appearance drops from this event. Has anyone actually loot this in remix? Also does it matter if I do it on normal or heroic world tier?
I ran this yesterday and got a score over 400 but my withered kept dying. I did most of the run with only 2-3 withered, so I was not able to loot the good chests.
What hidden appearance? I’ve been running it but haven’t noticed anything.
Blook dk, prot pally and monk hidden artifact appearances.
Withered training should probably be done in normal mode. Hero mode just gets them murdered by the first big mob blowing up and doing AoE damage to them.
Are these Remix-specific appearances? If not, it’s a lot more painless doing this in Retail.
In remix you can do it daily, maybe in retail its weekly idk, but you still need to do the questing to unlock it.
Is that to say that you can still get any of the artifact appearances (minus those obtained via the Mage Tower I’d guess) in retail?
Correct. Much easier to farm these in retail. I’m unaware of any that can’t be obtained other than the MT stuff.
Awesome! Thank you for the information. Artifact appearances were the only potential pain point for me since the requirements for many are fairly extensive. Going to be missing a chunk of Legion Remix so my chances of getting all of them during the event weren’t exactly realistic. Thank you again.
You have to do it in steps and on NORMAL until you get everything. Then do it on Heroic tier until you have the achievement for 400 points.
Unlock the extra mana capacity to get 2000/2000
Go do the training with 20 withered. Skip all the doors (you cant open the first 2 without 2 mages for one door and 2 zerkers for the other). Skip all the chests until you fight Dvo, while rescuing all the withered you come across (the webbed folks can contain withered too).
Kill DVO and stun him when he starts to warp-step and again when the first stun wears off. If you kill him fast enough, he may only kill 2 or 3 instead of 5. Then go open his door and all the other doors that REQUIRE 10 withered to open (theres 3). The 3rd door should have a chest and 3 withered you can rescue.
You should probably still be around 20 ish withered if not more. If you have 25 or more withered, go back and loot TWO large chests. If you have less than that, go loot just 1. Clear everything else until the Elfen giant. Spawn the dreadlord for bosses and use your stuns. Bosses love killing withered.
Sneak around the elfen giant and get his withered. Berserk them and nuke the giant. He should only kill 1 or 2 withered.
Go up the stairs and kill the spider thats summoning the little guys. Once its dead. Go back and loot as many big chests as you can and then loot the medium chests until you cant open any more.
Run back to the end and finish it. You’ll now open the big chests and hopefully you’ll get atleast one or two mages/berserkers.
You’ll also get roughly 1200-1600 mana back.
Repeat until you get all the chests. I believe theres 6 big chests and 8? medium chests.
You can also rescue 15-20ish withered during the mission.

My plan is to run it on normal/non-heroic until I complete it. Then I might give heroic tier a try. I was in heroic tier the second time I tried it (*by mistake), and it was just a waste of mana.
It’s 200 points, not 400. Can basically be achieved by killing all the trash in the first room and a few mobs down the corridor.
Currently bugged and you can’t do it daily once you finish the campaign, unless they have fixed it finally.
I finished the campaign a week ago. It has been up every single day since I unlocked the daily for it.
