Anyone know what the withered training points do? I try to have a high score but I’m not sure what it means or what it does
Higher score gives better and more rewards from the chest at the end.

If I recall you spend them to upgrade the withered and make the place easier. Been a long time since I did that thought.

I think most, if not all, the upgrades are found in chests during the scenario itself.

Higher score does give more rep tokens at the end, but nothing earth shattering. I think each token is like 75-100 rep. I’m not 100% certain on the numbers, I just remember it being low. But something is better than nothing. Whenever Legion TW is back you can buy tokens for timewarped badges as well, just depends on how quick you want to get the rep.
IIRC, higher score means a bigger chest at the end, which means better odds of getting the RNG rewards like toys and, for a few specs, hidden artifact appearances.
The rewards that upgrade your withered forces are from one-time chests that you can give up some of your squad to bring to the surface for you, once you’ve gotten those once they don’t appear again.

Specifically, look at the second long comment from the top, which is effectively a guide to Withered Training. I’d bet most if not all questions you would have are in there.

You get treasure chests at the end that give you rep rewards and some nice toys.
One is a blue globe lamp that you can turn on and off like a light switch for when you’re in darker areas…
… another is a a floating magic shower (good for RP purposes and for showering right after you’ve been to Orgrimmar… : P)
… then there’s the Fal’dorei Egg that turns you into a … you guessed it… Fal’dorei…
… a meditation orb (different to the one you sit on in from the Queen’s Conservatory…
… and a whole bunch of other toys but these are my favorite ones (and the most useful).
First you get a Mana Divining Stone (from Thalyssra, then you go around Suramar farming Ancient Mana (the more you have the better the bigger the loot and reward chest you get at the end of Withered Army Training).
