With the timewalking cache bug. what should i do?

Should i wait to even turn in the quest?
turn the quest in but dont open it?

I’m not sure when the game “generates the loot” for the cache, but I would not even turn the quest in.

I could be wrong, but I think wow generates the loot once you turn in the quest, not when you open the cache.
