With Precog baseline, how about a Melee version for Steel weapon chain?

Come again? :dracthyr_nervous_animated:

Sticky Tar Bomb

Tank Specs – Row 1 PvP Talent

1.5% of base mana 40 yd range

Instant 45 sec cooldown

Requires level 21

Throw a Sticky Tar Bomb that coats your target’s weapons with tar, disarming them for 4 sec.

After 4 sec, Sticky Tar Bomb explodes onto enemies within 10 yds. Other enemies that are hit by the explosion are affected by Sticky Tar Bomb but this effect cannot spread further.

another ranged 40 yard disarm

Is that why so many people are playing healers in S1? Oh wait lmao.

Didn’t know this, but still, that only makes 5 disarms total and all of them are PvP talents. Not everyone has access to a disarm, but almost everyone has access to an interrupt.

good luck with that

yes juking is hard or my personal favorite getting kicked twice proccing precog

I think it’s less about the reward for juking, and more about that there’s been little to no risk or consequence for missing the kick.

These changes are hopefully a step in the right direction. With these changes made, hopefully they can take a look at casters actually casting and melee hyper mobility. Need less instant casts; need less gap closers.

For the average player, it doesn’t matter that playing a caster is a higher skill floor than playing a melee. Playing a caster, especially a healer, is miserable and the game should not be balanced around unfun/miserable design. Instead balance the game around precog, etc. #makehardcastsgreatagain

Not sure if this is sarcasm but juking is legitimately difficult, especially with pushback and casting reduction debuffs. It’s really not hard to land a kick.

Which Precog lets you do, yeah.

Ya, I like the idea of precog and think there are too many microstops in the game atm, but I think with current tuning 5s of precog is absolutely gross. I imagine it’ll be tuned down to like 2-3s down from 5.

Heck no, melee land kicks way more often than it gets Juked. And everyone would invest in a kick bot.

I would just stop the cast with CC first and if I land a kick after that it’s an added bonus.
Even if they precog the kick they are on DR anyway.

Root beam becomes far less useful with baseline precog. Right now, you can root beam a no-trinket priest and silence them in the beam even if you don’t interrupt a spell.
If you do that with precog they will get a free immunity and walk out of it

oh cool they put quaking in an arena. now i can get griefed everywhere by wow players who didn’t attend shapes day in kindergarten

we all saw a triple melee team with a brew/fistweaver/arms make it and almost win vs the best RMPs and other comps in the world.

You sure you ok? Maybe melee harder

Considering disarm only effects a small percentage of classes, and now Hunter getting an AOE one that exploads and continues to disarm others? I mean yeah it’s worth considering post was a semi joke but honestly the more I think about it why not, if they want to give casters something as sick as baselin precog, tf are they not going to compensate Melee.

How about, “After a disarm effect ends gain 15% haste” (Think of something better idc) not sure why casters overall get to win while A the minor amounts of classes that can be disarmed get hurt and B Melee aren’t even top this or the coming patch, and hell even Feral would win from this I see far too many people disarming cats.

Might make people think twice about spamming their face on disarm too. Oh I wasted disarm, guess I get to die to this Avatar.

Then the classes that really are meh when you disarm their burst get compensated by a lil bit of haste, they made 99% of burst Cds undispellable, but we live in a world where most melee (Bar the obvious ones) can be ignored during their burst CDs most of the time anyway.

jokes on you. i’m not good enough to kick anyone that i’m not directly targeting anyway so y’all be jukin and i’ll be droolin’.

hey, gonna need you to shut your mouth yoss before i show you my foot transmog collection

okay this is objectively funny

First it’s not baseline, it’s an embellishment that needs to be crafted and takes up an embellishment gear slot.

Second, they don’t need to compensate melee with something to combat disarm. Precognition isn’t rewarding casters for simply being kicked, it’s rewarding them for juking or bad players missing a kick on nothing.

Disarm is a cast and done deal by a small portion of classes/specs that can even cast it if they’re even running the PvP talent. It’s not something you can really spam. If you use it at the wrong time when a melee isn’t bursting, you already messed up.

Not to mention the caster one can be dispelled while the melee ones can’t.
