The group forming tool being added soon should honestly completely eclipse the need for dual spec as a group forming benefit.
For clarity, I’m referring to the TBC-based group-forming tool that already existed in real TBC that they are “improving” the UI of for TBCC.
It’s definitely a lot easier than spamming or looking at a constant feed of caps-lock and/or elementary school grammar in a chat box.
I think this tool will alleviate things a lot for people who are still forming groups for things (the 10 people remaining who still need dungeon loot).
If I’m right, the only reasons left people have for adding dual spec is basically to save their own gold and to increase their convenience for the purpose of raid performance/utility, which isn’t a great argument and never has been.
I believe there was an overwhelming consensus that phase 2 sucked and was unplayable. Had it lasted much longer it would have literally killed the game.
This seems nonsensical to me. I mean, it could be that whatever the scenario you are describing here is visualized differently in your mind than how you’ve described it, and it just comes across as, well… nonsensical.
But yes, if there is an argument, and rather than attacking the argument, you attack the character of the person, group, whatever, making that argument, it’s ad hominem.
For example, a young child makes a statement, “You should focus on saving money while you are young.” And someone says in return, “You are only 5 years old, you don’t know what money is, nor how to save it.”
The response is not responding to the statement or argument.
You literally have evidence (and indeed enough proof) to show that what you’ve stated is ad hominem, yet you not only lack in having your own ability to understand things, you defer to reddit as an authority.
Good luck with decision making. Your strategy for doing so does seem to work for a lot of people.
Ah. Only for those who for some reason wanted to dominate others, but found themselves unable to do so.
Phase 2 during WoW Classic (not TBC Classic) was the greatest phase possible, especially as an underdog faction on a PVP server (for those of us who actually enjoy WoW, and PVP, and not just having some advantage over others).
You claimed this thread is representative of the playerbase, I said it wasn’t.
And the proof I put foward for why the forums aren’t representative of the playerbase is because they are full of trolls, nolifes, and people mad about something.
All I have is anecdotes because I don’t think hard data exists. But I feel pretty confident that the vast majority of the playerbase was happy phase 2 ended early, and that Blizzard was losing hundreds of thousand of subscriptions for every week phase 2 continued.
For what it’s worth, I have a lot of posts about my support of being the underdog during phase 2 on PVP servers. And I certainly would not feel comfortable being an Alliance character on Heartseeker talking about phase 2.
Because a great deal of people on Heartseaker ran away from Stalagg rather than enjoy PVP on the PVP server they rolled on. It’s more or less the definition of dishonor.
Of course I disagree. I’ve already stated reasons why. If you’d read what I’ve stated, how can you be asking this question?
I said that the forums are filled with trolls, nolifes, and people mad about something. Do you actually disagree with that? Do you actually believe the forums are representative of the average player?
