I responded to a person listing a specific CC chain that had gaps in it and pointed out that I could break the chain due to not being constantly CCd.
You responded to that post saying that the CC chain was unbreakable because at no point was I not CCd in the chain.
I pointed out a specific point where I am not CCd in the chain that was posted that I originally replied to and then you commented saying that despite the fact that I replied to a specific post and was talking about the specific chain listed that YOU weren’t talking about that and then aren’t even able to post the CC chain that you’re talking about.
No. You placed yourself in this conversation so provide the information or excuse yourself. It’s not my job to go get the facts for you in a conversation that you included yourself in.
Something is awkward about rogues in classic. I played one in vanilla so I understand their weaknesses. I landed chillwind and got popped by a ud rogue. Appeared to have t2 helm, mostly t1, and a perditions blade. Dude was geared out.
I got a break in his stun chain and got scatter off. Fd trapped him. Had cripple on me so slowly moved away. Popped flare on him while he was still trapped. Basically beat the brakes off him after that. He even used a potion to add more embarrassment to him.
He was absolutely free. What’s up with rogues? I was going to do rogue as my first alt but may go sp instead.
For a few classes it actually breaks stuns, namely warriors and hunters. A hunter trinkets your kidney and scatter traps you if you don’t preemptively pop a LIP or Skull the scatter, maybe frost reflector it and the fight is over. It’s a hunter’s marked Aimed Shot followed by a serpent sting and endless kiting with cheetah while they sit out of bow range as the pet solos you.
In contrast however, PvP trinket for rogues breaks charm, fear, and polymorph which if you’re undead, two of these are useless but for other races it’s god tier against destruction warlocks who will Drakedog you with a CoE Soul Fire followed by a coil you can’t vanish. Or just any warlock running succubus in general.
Polymorph break is great too for fighting mages because otherwise they sheep you at all, max rank fireball followed by a rank one frostbolt and you’re never getting near them again without some consumable like Free Action Potion.
there is no point during this you are given control of your character…
you are CC’d the entire duration.
you can trinket… and i will vanish sap.gouge/cheapshot/blind . which ever is on cooldown…
oh sorry you are a warlock. so i wont give you the chance to free cast.
90% of players need to turn around to attack you since you open with a ambush behind them. . and most will immediately turn. giving me the free gouge… and then i can save the cheapshot/blind for later.
Sap
cold blood
Ambush /blind.
cheapshot.
backstab /vanish
sap…
prep
cold blood.
ambush/blind.
cheapshot.
eviscerate or kidney shot.
vanish
sap again.
cheap shot back stab or ambush depending on how i feel.
you are dead… .
you got zero casts off.
ohh and your pet… im going to watch you for a minute before WTF’ing you . so i know what pet you have out. or dont (sacrifice) and adjust my sap/blind to give me 10 seconds to murder it first if i need to.
most melee( who have to face you to do anything)
you open with ambush. and wait for the turn around or step through them and turn. for the ambush/gouge to go off.
I am glad you know how to warlock… I know how to rogue in classic… you get no casts…
Maybee you do get a deathcoil off!!! some how. or i miss…
thats fine. sprint and blind.
I’d rather have a trinket that dispells poly than root/slowing effects. The only build that needs to be able to remove slows and roots is enhancement which is by far the worst pvp spec for our class.
Lol. Rogues can still one shot people, have incredible PvP burst, are near top dps in raids, and can literally pick and escape from any battle they want.
