How do people feel about this? Many of you didn’t like Jay for his infamous statement about classic, But he was at Blizzard since 2006. The only real OG left is Samwise diddier who does freelance work. It’s kind of sad to see people who have been working on this game we’ve played for so long leave.

Idk. Blizzard made some pretty mediocre games the past decade. So either the important ones already left or their continued influence just wasn’t that important.
Either way keeping the status quo is not an option for Blizzard at this point.

Yeah they are a few quims and quits are haters and somewhat racist constantly calling out his erhnicity but for the most part we love him.
Let me guess you’re talking about people who think asmongoof should be lead dev? (Laughed out of the room).
Look at what the suits did to D3. They made it a shameless cash grab whose endgame was buying gold to buy things off their RMAH. Then when that failed they allowed the D3 team to fix it with RoS, but figured that would flop so disbanded the D3 team and cancelled the planned 2nd xpac before it was released. RoS made D3 (at the time) the best selling video game of all time.
It just really drove home how big of a management problem Blizzard had. I have a feeling 99% of their problems are management related with their “profits first, gameplay second” stance.

I was more sad to see the better artists and some of the Sons of the Storm leave Blizzard honestly. Wei Wang left in 2017. He did so many of the iconic art pieces back in the day including patch artwork and box covers. Glenn Rane just left this year and started his own studio. Laurel Austin who did tons of the art for all of the animated series also left and went to one of the Dreamhaven studios.
I miss seeing all of these artist’s artwork.
I follow Samwise for all of his personal works as well. Who knows how much longer he will stay with Blizzard since he’s been there so long.

He has not. Then they should stop with the racial commentary. He has made wow infinitely better. And very few would say otherwise.
