With everyone talking about posture for Worgen and Forsaken I'd like to throw my hat in

Can we get rid, or have an option, for the Blood Elf contrapposto stance?

Now don’t get me wrong I like looking like the statue of David on most days, but it gets tiring, and I’d like to puff out my chest a little and look less aloof and more noble and intimidating.

Blood elves and intimidating dont fit into the same sentence.

You’re prissy and aloof, not noble and intimidating.

Clearly you’ve never seen the farstriders when they caught forest trolls.

I get that the stereotype is prissy pretty boys, but let’s be fair stereotypes aren’t always real

If we could just add a toggle to all race customization called “just be human” I think it would solve a lot of peoples’ issues.

Then why do I keep hearing that my people all smell like cooked bacon?

The Farstriders and high/blood/void elf rangers are different enough from the main body to almost seem like their own subgroup, quite a departure from most of the characters you meet leveling through Eversong.

Honestly that would be a wonderful experiment for them to run

My biggest gripe is that the Silvermoon guard all stand up straight. Just let me switch to that model

Looks like they finally got an update, but for a long time those guys were a remnant from the TBC alpha when the belf player models still used the night elf skeleton.

Most of the NPC questgivers at the scar are Farstriders and in the ghostlands too. Lorthemar is, or was, a farstrider. Rogue and Hunter PCs are farstriders, loosely.

Yes they did and they look very good
Let’s bring that over into our hands

Honestly most of this is just wishful thinking, but it’d be nice

Well the good thing is that all of the player models are now architected such that animations can be transferred between them, which is why we’ve now seen multiple races with straight backs and means it’s probably just a switch like any other option. They just gotta put in the switch.

What would be even cooler is if they added a handful of idle poses that any race could choose from.

It goes back up to one of the previous posts of “add a make me human button” but honestly even giving humans a hunch or a lean would be good.

It’s just they’re doing so much to add more customization, but most of it might be hidden under armor. Idle stances are always visible, so thats where my idea came from

Yeah I think it’s good, low-hanging fruit that Blizz could implement without too much effort, and it’s a common feature in other games. I could totally see this being added in a patch, even if it isn’t included with Shadowlands.

Yeah maybe it doesn’t happen at launch, or soon, but I figured I’d put it out there and at least get people thinking about it. Sow the seeds
