I’ve been levelling a bunch of alts lately, and it’s got me thinking, why can’t the mount/flight become account wide by now instead of constantly having to level up and relearn it?
It’s getting kind of annoying going from fastest speeds to the lowest of speed and having to work my way back up. I’m sure it would definitely be a QOL upgrade for EVERYBODY that likes to level alts.
At least the pathfinder flying ones are account wide.

They don’t want free play people flying at level 10.
Yeah, at this point it would make sense to remove the training costs and unlock faster flying at certain level milestones.
trial accounts can’t get past 20. they wouldn’t be able to unlock flying in the first place
Someone who lets their account lapse with a level 60 can still play for free up to level 20 chars not just trial accounts.
they just can’t talk in chat, join groups, use the mailbox or any thing else without having a recurring sub to WoW.

df content reps and a lot of the rewards. dragon riding glyphs and possibly other stuff. not sure of everything off the top of my head.
I do not mind the current Flight Tier system.
Leveling is so quick these days it does not take very long to get to level 40.
I think I did a Gnome lately from 1 to 40 in about 6 hours.
That’s part of the game. Level 10 is ground. Level 20 is faster ground. Level 30 is flight. Level 40 is faster flight. That’s part of the leveling experience.
You are correct it doesn’t take long. however, think about how much faster it would be if you could fly as soon as you load in.

Why are you in a rush ?
Being able to fly is not account wide. You have to purchase flying for each character you level.
You misunderstand what I’m talking about. the riding skills should be account wide.
And the winds of wisdom buff goes away in less than 2 weeks and i’ve got 10 more characters to get to 50 for heritage armor. lmao
Should talent points also be account wide so level 10s are running around with capstone talents ?
RPGs have leveling.
Once you’ve unlocked flight in an expansion, all your toons have it so long as they learned how to operate flying mounts.
I’m assuming you aren’t a fan of the account wide aspects coming in dragonflight with reputations and dragon riding then as that’s part of levelling. You have to have enjoyed grinding all of the covenant campaigns for different toons as well, by the logic you are using.
Nothing is wrong with the talent system. That is part of levelling. The ability to move faster though just makes levelling faster. Doesn’t change how it works.
Level 10s won’t get dragonriding.
So is learning progressively to use mounts.
Why would you do that ?
what are you talking about? you just paid for flying the previous expansions and it is free for WoD and Legion and maybe now BFA (account wide).
