adding to the wish list

  • a full raid tier after naxx is over
  • revisit rune balancing in slots to add build diversity instead of dead slots or single choice for classes
  • less reliance on stacking conditional buffs for dps classes in favour of classic rotations
  • no more borrowed power and conditional sets like T3
  • a new dev to work on the set bonuses rather than the guy who thinks 1h ret and healers granting dps bonuses are fun and quirky

Agreed. Though I assume this would still be on pvp gear, meaning pvp bursts would still one shot pve geared players.

Stealing the idea from Diablo, We need Ubers.
Take 2 bosses and put them in the same room and you need to fight both at the same time

Grobbulus and Rag in Rags room
Nefarian and Ony in Ony’s Lair
Prophet Sekram and Broodlord

just off the cuff with minor considerations and not well thought out but it could be a lazy way to add challenging endgame without reinventing the wheel, make them drop bonus iLvl version on non tier gear and more “runes” like they have for shoulders so we can go hog wild on endgame power creep

I would love Ubers.

This seems very low-effort though. I think it would be hilarious to fight all of the Flame Naga from MC at the same time - imagine the Majordomo fight but instead his adds were Shazz, Harbinger, Lucy, and Gehannas, but I don’t know if there are that many other bosses that I would enjoy seeing combined together.

we also have the reworked bosses from BFD, Gnomer and ST to mix it up

Gelihast march of murlocs seems like a fun mechanic at higher HP, put it in a bigger room since we have way more people and another boss to target during the immune phase

Crowd pummeler but in a room with walls so it’s knocking people all over and causing on the fly positioning vs the other boss

its def low effort but sometimes just because it’s low effort doesnt mean its bad

its like getting a cup of ramen as a snack before bed

its not after naxx but a very short naxx phase, like 8 weeks total

Too many to (re)list…

  • Revamped Alchemy and Enchanter: check out the HP pots and the naming method used. There’s 6 prefixes (1 is ‘invisible’; we’ll call that ‘Standard’). Which means 1-10,11-20,21-30,31-40,41-50,51-60; now make it so you start using your ‘raid consumable loadout’ from newbie levels onward.
  • PVP Role System; I’ve talked about this several times. I feel like this is the best solution to the crazy output (healing or dps) we can do now. And is the easiest to tweak; doesn’t see an entire set bonus ‘disabled’ in PVP. - At least try it and see if it works.
  • Tank hunter; Huntsman; no pet; dodge oriented; melee range - Hunter is the only class now with no additional role spec
  • Paladin skill book “Light’s Radiance”, changes all our offensive ability to Radiant Light-type, which does 50% phy and 50% holy - This should also fix any ‘immune’ mobs that are immune to magic, which greatly impacts a tank that uses magic for threat
  • Exsanguination new skill book for Warriors and Druids; allows Bleeds to affect ALL mob types
  • Versatile Toxins for Rogues; allows poisons to affect ALL mob types
  • Warrior: Taste for Blood; now also procs on Deep Wounds
  • T0 Real cost reduced by 80% (would make the chests 10 Reals)
  • T0.5 available for T0 piece + Embers
  • Reals and Embers made BoA
  • Rune UI revamped to look either like the Glyph UI / Path of the Titan UI / DF Skill “Bush” / or Legion artifact UI; seriously…it’s horrible…a certain private server made an amazing UI for their ‘add-on player power’; DO BETTER BLIZZARD.
  • Battle Pets (using Retail nomenclature) and Mounts converted to spells; ANOTHER private server did this and even put them in new Spell Book tabs; DO BETTER’ER BLIZZARD.
  • NEW Warlock QoL spell Coalescence of Souls. Consumes all Soul Shards to apply a 1hr buff with a ‘charge’ equal to the number of Shards consumed; this buff is now used in lieu of the “physical” Soulshards; rejoice! you have your bag space back
  • NEW Hunter/Warrior/Rogue QoL abilities Quiver and Bandolier. Consumes all ammo of type Arrow (Quiver) or type Bullet (Bandolier) and applies a buff to your character with a charge equal to the amount of highest ‘quality/level’ of ammo consumed. Also applies the ranged haste of the ammo holders based on its rank; Ranked ability with each rank increases the Ranged Haste. Rejoice! You, too, have your bag space back - Note: Max stack 2000 (so far that’s the highest stack count I’ve seen via Remnants of Valor; don’t want to crash the game!)
    ((NOTE: I pick ‘buff’ because then you can easily use WeakAuras to track the “stack count”))

…that’s all I’ve remembered/come up with so far.

I love all your BOA ideas. I think bring new reels in would also be great but we have to look at the rune slots so folks have to make real choices…

We really need target dummies. Especially with this current sanctified setup, we need undead and normal target dummies. Sims =/= real life.

my wishlist for changes is continued development beyond scarlet enclave. not holding my breath though.

Well, for the Sanc. stuff, they’d have to:

a) Put the dummies in Naxx, since the buff is likely checking the zoneID
b) Make Naxx apply a buff that the Seal checks for (instead of, again, likely zoneID); then make it so you can get the buff while within 10yrds of the target dummy (like you attack and the dummy casts the buff on you)

It is weird that they haven’t put them in. Because the code is there; warriors get 3 target dummies in Thousand Needles to get a rune. - The code being: how to make a ‘mob type’ object that doesn’t go into Evade because it can’t reach the player; ya know, since it’s stationary.

And since the target dummies are ‘doodads’ they can simply have them not spawn on Era/HC. - Though, realistically, Era/HC players would probably not have a problem with them.

id like to see wild offerings make a return alongside reals. also add some lvl 60 STV bloodmoon stuff back into the game. i think they should buff thunderfury and hand of rag to be comparable to naxx weapons. add spectral tiger as a rare mount drop off of last boss in scarlet enclave

I use them from time to time but they won’t take bleeds and they have low HP so its tough to test on them.

This sounds so cool

  • Let both factions have access to paladins and shamans so we can try the other SoD flavor as a last parting gift of SoD without having to switch faction. Drawf shaman/Tauren paladin
  • add AQ profession stuff like flasks/engineer bot to the reals vendor
  • add at least 1-2 AQ 2.5 token items to the reals vendor, maybe keep the chest so you still have to do a full run if you want that, /shrug (should be added THIS phase during naxx, let freshies gear up faster that have 2.5 part of their T3 bis)
  • let AQ10/AQ20 bosses drop reals (should be added THIS phase during naxx) add the 3 set tokens to reals vendor so we can play around with different specs we didn’t pick up in previous phases (fire mage, warlock tank, or to help freshies get geared up faster)

I’m cool with horde pallies as long as they’re forsaken and not Tauren.
