Wish List to Fix WoW

This is my personal list;

  • Reduce # of raiding difficulties
  • Scrap WF/TF
  • Scrap max level ilv mob scaling
  • Quit it with the RNG upon RNG upon RNG

All of these would make max level gear not jump 200 ilvs from beginning of expac.

  • Max difficulty raiding for smaller guilds (I preferred 10/25 man)
  • Bring back tier sets
  • Flying at max level
  • More guild rewards
  • Scrap never ending AP grind
  • No more “faction war” as main storyline, it can be secondary or tertiary
  • No more factions constantly making peace

I want to be able to complete the game for a while, not have it feel like a job I need to stress about not falling behind on.

  • More professions love
  • Guild hall, or new features
  • PvP vendor
  • PvE vendor (jp/vp)
  • More interesting talent trees

I want professions that are more relevant and do awesome things.

I want pvp vendors because my best irl friend said he/she would return to the game if they added pvp vendors. Like that was all that was needed.

And of course

Yeah I want to be really torn on which professions to choose like I used to be. Now it’s meh, doesn’t really matter.

No, 10/25 balancing was a nightmare and bosses went from being much easier on 10 man on some fights to being almost impossible on 25.

It sucks and Mythic is a perfect balance. Raiding has never been so good the last two expansions.

Flex raid and warmode have got to be the best things ever added to the game.

I like Flex raid, It’s been amazing for more casual guilds.

However there should always be a definitive most difficult version balanced around a set number.

Really shocked you didn’t include an actual seasonal rewards to do M+ aside from the ego flex of IO. Although I know Blizz said they would include one in the future but no actual timestamp.

I really miss Challenge modes for this sole reason. It would give me more incentive to push again than get my weekly in. Especially since raiding has become less attractive to me over the years.

  1. Every single Blizzard employee gets to post on the forums and exist in social media without fear of getting fired.

  2. No more AMAs on reddit. Do them here. With your own custom software.

  3. Game director makes a monthly “state of the game” post to show us they’re human. This will soften (and allow for more digestable) fan feedback.

  4. Designate a handful of fan concierges from “trusted” streamers, content producers, etc. similar to the MVP system and give them exclusive access to post their content with sticky posts and varying access levels to accommodate their needs
In other words, empower your content-producing fanbase directly.

  5. Fire Bobby Kotick. :desert_island:

this or get rid of part 2 and the timegate it comes with.

Why? Do you mean for leveling? It’s a great feature to me, makes me quest wherever I feel like (somewhat)

Rest of the post, I mostly agree. Gear vendors would be great. It’s one thing I really despise in the PvP experience. Let me spend currency and buy whatever piece of gear I want, please and thank you.

Yuck, heck no!

I enjoy it!

No.

Remove factions as they are bad for the game.

This has been needed forever!

New narrative director. Preferably a neutral one who can resist the urge to make self inserts.

New lead game designer. Preferably one who wont isolate the game from players at large like it’s his personal Elitist Jerks guild.

Speaking of him, only one pathfinder. It’s a good idea but if it can’t be completed within a day of max level it’s excessive and Ion is being a petty jerk because almost nobody agreed with his “no flying” crap.

Return artifacts and legendaries.

Return talent trees.

Return fluff and flavor abilities.

Dissolve factions AFTER Tyrande gets her justified vengeance on preferably Sylvanas and her loyalists. I’m mad but i don’t really want to lump the whole horde together.

Make real alternative endgames.

Bring back tier.

Revert from timegates to grinds with the Cataclysm tabard system for people who want to grind dungeons.

… That’s honestly all i can think of.

I’d downvote you for this.

I used to care about fixing wow but im convinced the course can’t be righted… at this point im just looking forward to tbc.

These would be interesting. But most of the employees wouldn’t want to post, knowing the vitriol they’d receive.

I remember when professions had a lot to offer. Especially the player made gear that was supposed to help you bridge the gap between dungeons and raids. You could make a pretty penny making that stuff. I remember making a killing with my Blacksmithing by creating ICC pattern drops. Thankfully my guild at the time didn’t make you give up a loot roll for pattern drops, just required you to have said trade skill maxed so you could immediately use it.

Learn form classic. Make questing more dangerous. Make resource management for dps a thing again. Looking at you mages. Make things not a steamroll

People who hate scaling hates freedom. You can’t take my freedom from me. :stuck_out_tongue:
But I also with the world as a whole was slightly more dangerous.
Maybe, maybe, make combat slightly slower. It was weird going back to auto attacking at first, in classic, but in combat I can really feel every hit and crit when they land. They are very satisfying.
