Layering has had too many bugs and there was an XP bug too so just think of the last few weeks as a public beta and try again. Other MMOs have had to do it before for the same reasons.

People wouldn’t reroll four days after launch because of “all that time invested” and you think you can wipe the servers without catastrophic repercussions? I find your point of view fascinating .

i haven’t done anything against the tos so i shouldn’t be punished and lose 3 days and 15 hours of play time on my warrior because other people are jerks. i guarentee if this were to happen (it definitely won’t), i would permanently quit all blizz games.

OOF, I put a lot of legitimate time into my characters that would suck for the 99% of players who didn’t abuse anything.

Not sure how bad it got to. A wipe and possible bans & suspensions would be great.

I’m all for this also restore accurate difficulty levels to all raids and instances and give us old Alterac Valley with the troll guy who sits in the middle

They shouldn’t have layering no matter what. It’s not classic. It doesn’t deserve the title classic if there is modern systems like this in place that ruin everything.

If they refunded me for my time and didn’t make me lose any names; I’d be alright with it. But they would never consider rolling these back. It’s not their problem and they’d lose money doing it.
Blizzard knows, and should ban anyone using it to multi kill bosses in dungeons.
Sure. Go ahead and do that and see how many legitimate players just take their little $15/month somewhere else. I don’t have the luxury of only playing this game 24/7, and I’m not going to make the choice to level this character again because some other people did stuff they shouldn’t have.

Give me a break. Layering is not a big deal. The bugs are not a big deal. Classic is in great shape. So the Try-Hards and Poop-Sockers got an advantage. So what? In a few months all the serious players will be at level 60 and NONE of that will matter. Let it go, move on.

No to that, why should players who are playing the right way be punished. A ban and confiscation of items obtained via exploit should be enough, and besides layering is going to be removed in the next phase.
They can do this and throw in a 1-month refund for everybody
