What kind of doctor are you supposed to be? The doctors and scientists and people of other professions, that I know or have met, like that don’t really play online games a lot if at all.

None of them, and I’ve never heard of anyone else other than you I guess, go on gaming forums a few times every hour at work all day long everyday.

I’m a psychologist!

A SIGNIFICANT portion of the job is report writing, which I’ve gotten pretty efficient at, so I just check the forums in between writing reports!

Also, as a part of licensure renewal, you need to get a significant amount of continuing education/PD. Today, for example, there’s a mandatory building 8 hour training about ASD diagnosis that I’ve already had extensive training on, so flitting to and from the forums is helping keep me awake and alert!

i swear i was in a win trade lobby on my ret yesterday at 1500-1600mmr but these forums tell me there is no win trading going on in shuffle lol… /shrug
oh well you do you man and all that noise :person_shrugging:

That’s pretty cool man!

My boss is super late showing up to the job site today because of a family issue! So I have been on the forums all morning waiting for him to get done!

Wouldn’t you be a better psychologist if you spent more time on being a psychologist instead of being on the forums all day long everyday?! I wouldn’t know because I am a blue collar worker!

Like my bro is an organic chemist and he spends his free time at work reading work related stuff or talking to people about stuff! I guess he does spend a few minutes here and there making jokes with people! So maybe I am wrong!

I don’t really know which is why I was asking! I know it might seem like I am being rude but it’s the internet and tone doesn’t always carry over!

The am poking a bit of fun with the exclamation marks for no reason though lol! But I’ve been trolling all morning, I can’t stop!

Nope, I don’t think so!
I do a TON of research, have conversations, and take part in trainings, seminars, speeches to postsecondary students, and review case law. I’m also part of my union bargaining team!

At the end of the day, the primary roles of a psychologist are to identify data, interpret that, determine significance, provide solutions, and communicate that information to people.

The forums are an excellent way to practice those skills!

For example, when you tried to say that dk needs a buff because it only had a 51% winrate above 2100, that’s not entirely dissimilar fromna person who may come in and say that they feel they have a disability because they’re not as successful as they want based on an arbitrary metric.

Continuing with how I responded to you, fury warrior and disc priest have <49% winrate with 3-4x the sample size and are widely viewed as exceptionally successful.

That’s useful data to present to someone in a real life scenario; if a person says that they feel sad because they’re not as successful as they want when, in reality, they’re objectively MORE successful using those same metrics than people who THEY perceive as successful.

This is important because it can help address cognitive dissonance and identify areas of improvement vs what is just negative thoughts/feelings/delusions.

Interesting!

So on fury and disc having 3-4x the sample size but it doesn’t contribute to success overall! But for dks with a smaller sample size but not that much smaller they have a higher success rate!

So for dks 12.5% of the players are able to get above 2100!

For dpriests 16.6% of the players are able to get above 2100!

Aren’t those numbers pretty close and that could just mean it’s the players playing them and not the class?!

If it was like 40%-10%, I would think you are on to something! But it appears that with dks and dpriests they are both performing very similarly!

I wouldn’t say dpriests are really outperforming dks at all!

Oh I went with just unholy dks! Frost is performing better going by metrics!

Holy crap, frost is doing amazing 40% are above 2100!!!

This might be where you having thoughts/feelings/delusions!

Could it be that what you mean but don’t know it is that at a certain point, if there are less options (healer classes), less and less of a percentage rises to the top?! Because there are less dpriest mains and more dpriest alts?! Or perhaps the healer incentives right now incentivize players would not normally play a healer choose, chose to play them?!

And wouldn’t that all add up to dks are doing fine?!

That would also make sense that dpriests are not as op as you think because the priests in AWC all played holy!

That’s why you keep offering to queue with me. You don’t actually want to play with me, you want to analyze me :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Ya that’s exactly what every professional wants to do when they get home from work; do more work for free

So when you are at work you are at home off work?! We are talking about while at work!

110% chance we see a book published by Nas in a few years featuring highly detailed breakdowns and diagnoses for all the arena forum people LMAO.

“These people are the first I’ve seen be beyond help.”:sob:

Ur just mad your not interesting enough :rage:

On second thought, therapy queue sessions might be a gold mine. The wow pvp community isn’t exactly the most mentally stable

Honestly does it matter at this point?

Better to have someone to play with and against than nobody at all.

Participation is booty cheeks

He likely keeps his edge sharpened with all the nuts around here.
