I hear ya, it’s never a fun time when WG keeps popping over and over and over, even after you switch to alts to re-queue

I don’t like this bg even on Horde side, even when we win :rofl:

It’s simply not as fun as the other 2 bgs

now Southshore vs Tarren Mill, now THERE’S a fun bg that I wouldn’t mind popping over and over, the action is always fresh in there

Wintergrasp though? Usually I’ll just afk out the 2nd or 3rd time, I just don’t have the patience for this one to be honest :thinking:

Meanwhile, Seething Shore and Battle for Gilneas are like “the Wintergrasp” of the little bgs

I always sigh when I see Seething Shore pop :roll_eyes: , that bg sucks

dude all you have to do is to play fury in 2v2, its free 1800 basicly. HOW can you waste your time on random battlegrounds where a person as individual unit has no impact?

Arenas is not for everybody I personally do not like them BG’s are so much fun to lot us. It really is different strokes for different folks.

I love Wintergrasp! I went in, picked up a quest to kill 10 NPCs, completed it, and got 150 Conquest! Then since it looked like the battleground would drag on for a bit, I left, having no reason to go in there ever again.

Wintergrasp served a purpose in WotLK, in that it was entry to the vaulted raid that dropped mid-tier loot for people to get into Trial of the Crusader / ICC. Right now it doesn’t even serve that purpose. Some of the bosses for the opened raid also gave pvp gear. (Where’s our pvp gear vendors? Hm?)

The balance of the warmachines in speed and damage vs how fast the walls can go down is atrocious. It is largely dependant on how well an offence is mounted and how well the towers are kept intact. Pugging wintergrasp is just nightmarish.

This argument is stupid. What purpose do other battlegrounds serve aside from providing players a place to kill other players??

Or, you know, they’re finally giving the player base what they wanted? There are hundreds of threads asking for the return of Wintergrasp.

Ya cause the players that didn’t do WG back in WOTLK are trying getting a small taste of what it was like back than. But now no one ever dies anymore and the feeling back than now is different.

Boring bg is boring

I just got out of a winning Horde WG match and it wasn’t even fun, I couldn’t wait til it was over to be honest :roll_eyes:

Vehicle PvE is simply not as fun as “actual” PvP

No matter whether I’m on my Horde toon or my Alliance toon, I’m seeing more and more comments like “this bg sucks”, “whelp, i rather take deserter than this”, “45 minutes? no thx bye”, and “this is so boring” popping up in the bg chat.

Also seeing a decent amount of WG-induced “_________ has left the instance group” on both sides, seems a lot of casuals are not responding well to this bg :rofl:

Yeah it doesn’t feel like WoTLK Wintergrasp at all, it feels so
 empty, it’s hard to explain the feeling :thinking:

As I play more, I’m remembering that on a battle-to-battle basis, I didn’t really enjoy it that much in WOTLK, either.

I think the problem is that the memories I had of it were all the good, exciting parts, culled from many different battles over 3 years, and all squished into one memory as if all those things happened in the same battle. But the reality of Wintergrasp was and is a lot of boredom and frustration mixed in with the occasional fun.

Even at it’s WORST - with all it’s vehicle imbalance issues and the Alliance glaives 2-shot exploit still being live - I didn’t feel nearly as bad when Isle of Conquest popped as I do now when Wintergrasp pops

Wintergrasp popping is a big killjoy when I’m spamming epic bgs :grimacing:

Id rather have WG on assault than have AV anymore. Alliance just charges in and leaves everything open so I just mess around with guardian spec. In WG I can at least get a vehicle and bust some stuff up.

A small no of the player base who played WG back in the day. I wager that the majority of the current players never even saw it till it showed up in the brawl and from the amount of afk even before the BG starts
 a lot of ppl hate it
