WINTERGRASP!!! The FRAAM
When WG loads I’m either like:
“Defense, yes!”
or
“Offense, meh…”
So I like WG Defense. If it goes well you pretty much dominate and zugzug (except with cata or demos). If it goes badly it’s a fast loss.
WG Offense is more challenging for a variety of reasons and tends to not go so well with pugs. There’s also the ‘mass exodus’ issue after pugs lose the initial clash (usually the SR fight). If folks don’t want to try after that there isn’t much reason to stay TBH.
Generally speaking, you can occasionally get good small group fights at the southern workshops.

Watching the loading screen bar, knowing 9 times out of 10 if you get a double bar it’s a defense.

I actually like WG, but I feel like it would be more exciting if the map was shrunk by at least 50%. It’s just too damn big. Less distance between nodes would speed up gameplay.

WG Pro: Getting an offensive steamroll that wins in a few minutes.
WG Cons: Anything else.

I personally like when we get a Defense that steamrolls b/c I get a lot of HK’s. Same reason I like AV turtles.

Con: attack losses are too drawn out and decided in the first team fight. All other epics have some semblance of intrigue, but WG feels very one sided most of the time.

DEMO’S!!!
Most of the ALLIANCE WERE
ON GATE’s and the courtyard’s.
We took down THE TOWERS,
WEST and EAST!!!
THAT WAS THE WIN!!!
FRAAM had a little ALLIANCE
BLOOD IN THEIR TEA!!!
