Is there anyway we can get an increase drop chance for the winter veil weapon illusions? Doing this on 12+ alts a day for the past 3 years for the event is pretty painful.

There’s also Flames of Ragnaros, which also drops from the daily presents.
Might not be such a bad “farm” if there was a quick portal to the area instead of having to do things like Port to SW > Port to Boralus > Port to Ironforge > Get quest > Fly (or else) to area > Fly or Port somewhere else to eventually get back to IF.
Or, the quest just pops up when you get to the Greench area.

yeah, im talking about both Winter’s Grasp and Flames of Ragnaros. The fastest way I’ve noticed to do the farm is Hearthstone-> Tarren Mill → Complete quest → Dalaran Hearthstone → Org Portal → turn in. I do this for my horde alts but my Alliance alts are a pain.

Flames of rag should have been exclusive to the timewalking Molten core. Had to do it 56 times for it.

It dropped after the 3rd Ragnaros kill for net
To be fair those two are bland so if you didn’t get it this year you’re not missing out
Second this, I have run all the dailies over 40 times already this season and still no drop on the illusions. With something we can only farm once a year, some kind of upper limit to the amount of presents you can open without getting the drop would be a great quality of life addition to respect player’s time. I only have limited time to play so at the moment I spend all my game time trying to get the winters grasp illusion
Geebus, what did they do fo the loot tables? I got 3 of each the first year they were available. This sucks for y’all. I hope they fix it.
Just an FYI, there’s a snowman in the area near the cave that has the quest. He’s in a stand of trees. You can just go to the area to pick up the quest. Of course, you still have to go to IF to turn it in… /sigh
