I’m not sure if Blizzard uses a different system than the rest of the Northern Hemisphere, but it seems like Summer Bass are still being fished rather than Winter Squid (even though today is the fall equinox). Anyone else experiencing this?
Same on my end dude. Was sad as I have the day off and was hoping to farm the hell out of em.
Yea today is supposed to be squids. (Sept 22-March 20)

Summer bass are still being caught. Worthless summer bass. Pull it out Blizzard!
This issue is very concerning to me if it is indeed the case.
Just pulled a squid out of the Bay of Storms on Old Blanchy, so maybe it’s really fall now.
There’s always a small chance of getting winter squid in the summer and vice versa on the summer bass.
Some of these things get triggered based on Pacific Standard Time, -8GMT. Such as the ‘launch’ or release of most updates and expansions.
I believe the two fish fade over a period of time, you catch fewer bass and more squid as fall goes on.
But when summer hit the squids were gone other than the super rare chance.
