Are there any plans on allowing Winter squid to be fished during summer or adding in a summer food that is similar?
I don’t mind farming my own buff food or buying it if need. The issue is not that i can not just buy it now the season is over, it’s the supply and price.
It’s already 74 gold a stack and will only go up from here.
As this is a seasonal server who’s to say we get 6 more moths of SOD when the squid can be fished up again?
Maybe rather then giving gold for your events give us consume tokens or Raw fish and meats, herbs, ect for raid consumes.
That would drive the price down for such things and give folks more options for consumes.
I am not disputing the fact it is “currently” a seasonal item.
The issue is This is a seasonal server. SOD could be over in 6 months.
I am simply asking if there maybe any plans to add a new food or allow like what was mentioned above adding the squid to a cold zone.
or we could “DISCOVER” a new buff food.
What people fail to realize is that this is a seasonal game to test things out. That’s right, we are all Blizz guinea pigs/test subjects. Things are seasonal for a reason. Stop trying to turn this into retail and asking for all these petty changes. The devs can’t even fix silly bugs in a timely manner. Leave them alone and let them do their jobs. You can’t get everything you want in life no matter what your mommy and daddy told you.
OP shared a story, noticed something that doesn’t fit in a seasonal iteration of the game and made a suggestion as to how to remedy the situation.
You, on the other hand, are being a turd for no reason. Why don’t you find your friends in some of the other threads and move along
And to your point, we are test subjects. So it’s our duty to point out oversights. Having seasonally farmed items on a seasonal server is an oversight.
No one’s flipping tables over here. Just pointing out something that doesn’t fit in the game
Well winter squid could be available in other parts of Azeroth at different times of the year was my point. Maybe azshara could follow the US winter and somewhere south could follow the “southern hemisphere” winter.
Or they could just take away the seasonality of it
Or allow it to be bought from a vendor
A number of things could be changed. Is it a big deal if nothing changes? Nope, but we’re just discussing something in general here
I agree,
I am not gripping about it. I can always farm tons of gold and just buy it all up now.
But, it seems they are trying to make this more casual for more players who may not have hours and hours a day to farm 100s of gold to buy weekly consumes.
Hench why they are giving 300% quest gold below level cap.
and all this extra gold from incursions. That in turn only feed inflation.
That being said i like the idea of winter zones being able to have winter season fish and maybe summer season fish being fished in desert areas in winter. even if it is a lower then normal catch rate.
I really like the idea of consume tokens or currency from PVE events that allows for purchase of these out of season items.
