They’ve done this before, then decided to change their minds. It’d be nice to have it go to the entire class, but again, as I said:
It’s literally not on the PTR. The strings have been datamined, but there’s no implementation for anybody to work with or test yet.
Because there aren’t enough monks around that would care anyway.
How is moving faster not a gap closer?
The wing leap isn’t the problem as i see it this is a good move for rets but the taunt could give problems,the extra could be used to spoil a raid or dungeon by drawing more mobs uncontrollably. We do have to remember what is happening already .
Wings of Liberty was the best chapter of SC2.

Hrm, It looks like it just resets the single target taunt CD if I’m reading it correctly.
So I don’t think it’ll be randomly pulling things in. It might be nice for if a Prot Pally messes up their taunt swap. Not sure it’s too game breaking though.
I’m not talking about the tank,use the mind for a minute 3rets ,one holy and a tank in a raid they all got taunt and leap ,tank has two taunts ,ret and holy each have even one and an extra (if that were possible ),if one or two taunt ,in one raid or dungeon differently with no control or coordination the disaster that would create.

Lots of specs have a taunt. Arms Warriors can taunt, Feral Druids can Taunt, I’m pretty sure most classes that can tank can taunt from their DPS spec. Some specs can redirect their own threat… Hunters can taunt off their pets and their pets can taunt.
If the concern is that paladins being able to taunt/reset their taunt is somehow going to add potential chaos, I think the ability for that to happen is already there.
I don’t think Blizz would care too much unless people started trying to Taunt Kite an enemy… but I’m pretty sure Taunt has a DR so that can backfire real fast haha.
If it did cause an issue, I think a raid group would be pretty fast to boot the folks causing issues with it.
You see the wing leap is the taunt as is when used according to what I read above it’s an instant not on a gcd as a regular taunt. Leap auto taunt ,then use another taunt .isn’t a good idea,it is a recipe for a demise.Imho.
Oh, I don’t think the actual leap is a taunt. I think it only resets the CD on your taunt.

From what little we DO know, it doesn’t actually Taunt. It just resets that cooldown.
I highly doubt they’re going to throw a “you’re going to taunt as a dps” curveball onto what is more or less a Heroic Leap remodel.
That would be hilarious at least once though.

The same as it automatically taunting? No.
i love that the worst players are the ones who cry the most. Why would you need a gap closer? to engage faster in RP events? You do 0 m+. 0 raids, 0 pvp yet you cry for a gap closer on a character you dont play. step up your trolling game bro, it’s terrible
