Not the first time this has been asked for over the years either. It’s been requested quite often and it seems like instead of getting wing mounts, we get a gliding race instead lol.
Those mechagon jet packs were awesome. And, probably belong in mechagon. I’m one of those gals who didn’t like the choppa (at first) or the copter mounts because they are not “fantasy”. Still, those jet packs were great and looked cool and were fun.
They get the new flying. This would, I assume, be the regular old flying. I mean, ground mounts didn’t take away from worgen (though, I admit, ground mounts came first).
I love the idea. I always like smaller mounts, and you can’t be much smaller than wings or a jetpack. As long as it has the standard mount cast time and the same daze and dismounting rules as other mounts I don’t see any way it could be a problem.

Yep. Not asking for instant flight or to be as op as druid flight form. I just want them to work like regular mounts!
Hey, they can’t ignore us forever! The more we ask the more chances we got. Maybe dracthyr paves the way for this in the future, specially if dragonriding becomes the norm.
