Basically have been doing solo shuffle arenas lately and have noticed now on 2 separate occasions that the ability Slicing Winds will stop functioning all together randomly. The key bind itself works and is displayed in the UI of the game, but the spell itself doesnt function. I have moved the key spell onto multiple keys to see if that worked, and it didnt, i also respec’d between rounds to see if that would restore the spell or fix it, but alas it did not. Logging out seems to be the only way to fix this bug currently.

Yeah its really annoying normally it doesn’t happen in game, but I just now had a solo shuffle where I used it on the 1st round and it just didn’t work every round after that. It’s been happening to me quite often over the last 2 weeks. Yeah only fix seems to be relogging I’m unsure the cause maybe cc while casting it?
yea I was just in a solo shuffle and it just happened to me, worked first round but no rounds after. Think i was poly’d during cast, so maybe cc during cast is the problem. Also tried switching talents for 2 rounds and /reloading, relogged once it finished, seems to be the only fix. So dumb

Update: It happened again, I waited for the round to finish then logged straight out and back in, still had 30 seconds to spare but game kicked me and considered me a leaver. Lost roughly 150 points. Pretty dumb considering Slicing Winds is such a big part of WW damage currently. So don’t relog during solo shuffle, just gotta change build and live with it for now…
damn i haven’t got the bug since the recent patch but if its still happening that sucks
Yes this is quite annoying, specing back into Flying Serpent kick works just as an FYI if you want to relog later on. Though I’m not 100% if you can switch talents during a shuffle (haven’t tried this season at least). Specing back into Slicing Winds leaves it locked still which makes this occurrence even stranger. As others have said the only fix currently I’ve found is to relog, but having this happen during a pvp match or area is pretty game breaking as it leaves us much less mobile on top of a huge damage drop-off.
This is still occurring. If i get ccd in pvp while casting it breaks it and it no longer works until I relog.
