Has anyone else noticed this occasional shrieking wind noise? I’ve noticed it on RSK/BK/TP at least. They added this back in mid Legion and I forgot about it until I resubscribed and started playing again today. Everyone told me I was insane and they couldn’t hear anything, but the first dungeon I played after resubscribing I immediately noticed it again.

this thing exist since legion ( this sound is part of WW arctifact weapon), I just don’t why we stiil got this on since we don’t use the arctifact anymore.
I’m glad someone other than me can hear it now 
back when I posted this in Legion everyone told me they couldn’t hear it.
Now if I can just figure out exactly what it is, maybe there’s a way to replace it with an empty sound file…
I never realized this wasn’t always there but now that you’ve pointed it out I completely hear it lol. Quite an annoying sound
I’m not 100% sure how to mute individual sounds, but I assume you know how to do that.
Wowhead has the sound files listed for each ability. I think I’m hearing the Thundering Impact sound effects. I didn’t play a Monk during Legion, so I’m just used to it always sounding this way.

I think I used an addon or just used s ome file directory override for custom sounds when I changed something years ago. I don’t remember exactly.
As for the sounds themselves, I don’t think Thundefist is it, though I appreciate the investigation.
