Windwalker more efficient AoE?

so back after a year or so and working on my professions. Mainly LW right now. Love my WW, but unless I am really behind, it lacks horribly in farming ranged AoE (example brewmaster has the Ox). Is that correct, or am I missing a skill. If so, what other options can I try. I realized this after farming for thick leather and it would be easier if I could round them up.
cuz, killing 410 mobs one at a time?.. uhg Maybe I should ask about crowd control. Lots of AoE after I have them gathered., its just getting them to me. (I’m always out of breath if I have to chase a mob :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

true, but at 116, im one hitting them. Not really a big deal, I like to pile them up, but may not be possible. Just checking with people more skilled than I :smile:

You never know someone may come with a neat trick

Run around on your mount to gather them up, pop touch of karma on one to keep yourself alive, then pop storm esrth and fire and get up to 5 stacks on spinning crane kick and spam it. Use chi builders as needed and fists of fury to finish them off. Our AOE is ridiculously inefficient and complex compared to other classes. Roll a DH if you want easier, all they have to do is press two buttons to clear huge packs and walk away with full health.

Typical aoe rotation is tiger palm,sef, rsk, fist of the white tiger, FoF, whirling dragon punch and then spinning crane. This does a boat load of aoe dmg and if the mobs arent dead then itll be damn near it.

If you’re 1 hitting to farm than brewmaster with rjw or mistweaver with sck will be better

if you are farming in WW you are doing it wrong. Brm is pretty much the best farming spec in the game. there is 0 reason not to use good ole Dave when farming

Both mistweaver & brewmaster are better at farming low level things. WW would be better at level appropriate content.

BRM is considerably better at farming.

You’re probably missing out on something here, ok we dont have ‘ranged’ aoe but dance of chi ji traits to a ton of aoe dmg and usually that’s what you want to use once you gathered a pack. I stack 2 traits and it usually rank 2nd or 3rd after FoF etc
