For the love of all things World of Warcraft, please dear god, whatever changes you all made to Windwalker Monk, take it back, you in one fail swoop, took my favorite class, and absolutely destroyed it. Whatever Dev did this, I immediately hate you. Feel free to reach out to me directly for help, completely free of charge.
Did they change the mastery so you don’t get a bonus for pressing different buttons sequentially anymore? Or is that the same in TWW?
Ww monk in beta is a lot better than retail.

I should probably amend this to say that, Zenith is about the only real change I enjoy, SEF was super buggy. Short of that, the removal of Xuen, and moving to Conduit only, it’s ridiculous as Xuen was such a staple of WW. Not having it in Shado Pan feels so bad. We also, hit like wet noodles. Look at Archon logs. We are trash, so much potential to do good things in this rework and this is the best we got? Tigerseye Brew is so bad, it takes so long to charge it to 20 stacks… Why? your Zenith recharges 2 times over before you even get close to stacking it. Removing Last Emperors Capacitor? WHYYYYYY?!!?!?!! …. that’s about the most fun thing in the tree ffs… We once again will barely be represented in any kind of high end content… yayyyy WW. Just trash man.

Is there any healer that is as good as now, or better? Or is it all glooms.
For me, it’s all crappy. Interrupts removed, favorite spells removed and playstyles changed.
Everyone is going to feel differently, but I am not happy.
When monk loses iconic SEF :’(
Losing SEF is not the problem. The tearing apart of the fundamentals of the spec to such a point where there’s so little left they need to make baseline functions of abilities “talents” (like why is blackout kick CDR a talent now?) is the issue. There is basically nothing left here. Xuen is gone for some reason unless you’re playing conduit, the CDR component of shadopan is gone, all conditionals are gone, SCK hits like a noodle now, for some reason slicing winds is still here, emps capacitor is gone, this sad excuse for "tigerseye brew” coming back which is a boring passive you can’t play around effectively, I can keep going. Zenith is a decent ability, but 95% of the other changes are abysmal. Its like they think players are too stupid to read abilities, so they just make them passives and insist on keeping garbage like Jadefire Stomp and slicing winds.
the fact they kept slicing winds while doing literally anything else to the spec is a huge red flag. either they are actually very ignorant/ low IQ, or are doing this out of malice.
I genuinely think it’s incompetence. They never know what they’re doing with windwalker but this is embarassing.
SEF is probably one of the most WC3 flavored things about WW monk. Like Samuro the blademaster! Why would they even get rid of it?

because it’s one of the most clunkiest and annoying abilities to use in the game, historically has been riddled with bugs that usually never go fixed
