I cannot apply the Starter Build on my monk when specced as Windwalker (only that spec, the others are fine).
I’ve messed around a bit with resetting the points and saving a test profile, but every time I try to apply the Starter Build, it says that I have pending points that I need to spend (which isn’t the case).
I’m using a cleanly rebuilt WTF folder structure, cleared my cache folder, and have no add-ons. This also isn’t happening on any of my other characters with Starter Builds (I’ve gone through every spec on every class to verify this).
This definitely feels like a bug.

I just discovered that this is affecting the Marksman hunter starter build, as well. MM hunters cannot select a starter build.

Confirming that I can reproduce this bug as of 8/7/2023.
Can also confirm that this is a bug that can happen randomly. The starter build script worked fine from 61-67. At 67 the script failed. When I leveled to 68, the script remained broken.
Deleting other load outs, unloading all addons did not change or fix the issue.
I also want to confirm that when I re-imported a build from another site (Wowhead), even when all the talents were zeroed out, the Wowhead build just populated. The “apply changes” button never lit up.
The error I get when trying to change from a third-party build to the stater build is: You must spend all available talent points to apply changes.

Just to follow-up on this with some updated info:
In my second post I mentioned MM hunter also seeing this bug, but it was fixed in 10.1.5 and that starter build works as expected.
After going through and setting the starter build on every spec, I can confirm (for me, at least) that only WW monk is seeing this issue still after 10.1.5.
Feb 2024 - Still not fixed. Monk - Can’t select started build at level 70, even with all talent points used. It’s ashame this has been going on for years. No wonder Microsoft cleaned house.
