They really should bring it back.
IMO it’s almost certain to come back either right before (and during) the prepatch, or sooner if subs drop off again.
But of course that’s just supposition on my part based on what they did for the end of BFA. I would love to log in and level some of those 50’s I have parked in Org in some place besides the SL.
Just have to wait till the expansion drops…there is a large xp nerf 1-60 when it does.

I imagine it’ll be back after S4 ends and/or prepatch begins to give people further incentive to prorder and pre-level their Dracthyr/DF main.
It’s still pretty easy/quick to level and if you aren’t going to be doing S4 stuff, it isn’t like you got anything new to do otherwise.

Dang, good timing for this thread. And that 70%+ XP requirement decrease between 50 and 60 is HUGE!

Seems they won’t be for the foreseeable future. At least not 'till the numbers drop for participation in the fated garbage.
its what everyone wants, with that said they wont…sadly they dont ever do what the players want.
That’d be the wise decision. Had a few friends just recently, contemplating of coming back to WoW to level their characters in anticipation of Dragonflight — Having the Winds XP buff come back would help reinforce the idea of returning to the game.
i really wish they would bring it back, it made leveling actually enjoyable with how quickly you got your classes kit, not to mention it made me actually want to level for the heritage armors

It is. I am just so sick of shadowlands at this point, so the buff was nice.
During the prepatch would be ideal
The simple fact they said it was specifically to help players get ready for season 4, just shows what players they care about most, and that the rest of the players don’t mean a damn thing to Blizz outside the money they give them. I hope all these poor decisions recently blow up in Blizzard’s faces and Dragonflight becomes a 3rd failed expansion and WoW goes into full maintenance mode. Then Blizz can look back and maybe think, wow, we really screwed up, and maybe we need to listen to feedback from all players.

The amount of XP required to get from levels 1 to 60 is going to be cut by about 56% whenever the pre-patch does hit, so at that point it probably won’t happen or even be necessary.
