WoW classic crashes whenever i change to windowed mode

whenever i change to window mode in wow classic it changes back and forth quickly 3 or 4 times then crashes. The game plays fine in full screen but playing like that isnt practical since i use a 55 inch tv that sits 2 feet away. The BFA client and Private server clients both allow me to change to window mode fine, so its specific to Classic. I found a workaround. on your blizzard app at the top left where is says blizzard click the drop down menu and click settings. then go to game settings. scroll down to World of warcraft classic and click the box that says additional command line arguments. in that box type -windowed
