If Microsoft didn’t force their upgrades on people with Win 11, i would be shocked honestly.
The addition of Direct Storage is huge. It’ll be a while before more than a handful of devs take advantage of it, but it’ll allow many games to skip loading screens entirely. I’ll be upgrading for that alone.
Apparently its CPU scheduler got a rewrite too, so those of us with beefy CPUs should see improvements in more intense software right away.
