DxDiag Notes

I do have Dx12 but it only showed up in beta then it didn’t . Updates included. My graphics card is an NVIDIA Geforce GT 730 and it says it works with Dx12 ;/

Howdy!

Compatibility tab will only show older OS versions as the point is to get older software to work on what it was designed to work on, if it hasn’t been updated. We need to remember DirectX12 has two requirements first the Operating System which you have and then the GPU needs to also support DirectX12 fully. If that is the case then the drivers also need to be updated.

As for not being able to see DirectX12. Make sure your drivers are fully upto date from Nvidia directly Here. If the issue continues try launching the game with DirectX12:

  1. Open Battle.net Settings
  2. Click “Game Settings”
  3. Check “Additional command line arguments” for World of Warcraft
  4. Type in -d3d12
  5. Hit okay and launch the client

After that if the issue continues wait for the latest patch 8.1 and see if you notice any changes, if not it’s a very good chance your GPU version itself doesn’t support DirectX12.
