What is the standard countermeasure for it? Is there some kind of visual indication to look out for when it comes or do I just have to play it by ear?
As WW, I usually start throwing out disarms or karma when I see enhance start glowing white. However, is there a way to reduce the likelihood of Windfury popping up or do I just have to chin it? It’s a bit jarring looking through combat logs to see 4-8 Windfury attacks along with their Flametongue attacks too.
What’s the problem? It’s the FURY of the WIND, of course you should instantly die. Like, it’s in the name.
By that logic, Blizz would have to give Windwalkers the Windwalk ability which would essentially just make us more mobile rogues with their crit leggo baked into our spec, and I’m sure no one wants that.
This is a good point. Should you be able to walk on top of the wind or does the fury of the wind counter your mad walking skills?
if they are using the doomwinds legendary, they will have a buff on their character for it when they drop windfury totem. Besides that it is completely unpredictable as far as i know

nope the doomwinds effect will remain until it times out either way
If he blows doomwinds it’s gonna hit you, but if your a WW looking for a sure way to avoid it? Just port every time you see his doomwinds debuff, disarm if he chases and gets to you, he honestly shouldn’t be able to catch you tho. Can also rop him and roll on the opposite direction than fists after he reaches, WW has so many ways to just lol enh free win.
I’m happy to learn more about how enh damage works. So, disarm is effective against them during Doomwinds? And Doomwinds is more dangerous than Ascendance?
But Ascendance’s wind blasts can’t be disarmed, right? Can they then stack Ascendance & Doomwinds to counter disarm potential?
If you disarm enh, it cannot use any melee ability’s including ascendance wind strikes
